Sadly, it is confirmed that Jane Elliott has indeed decided to retire and will exit the role of Tracy Quartermaine on 'General Hospital' in the coming months. With Tracy being such an important and legacy character on the canvas the possibility of recasting the role is there. But, there's also a possibility that the character could be written off the canvas. And, with such a great talented and outstanding actress as Jane Elliott, it'd be a task to replace her!
In recent times, Soap Cities ran a poll asking fans to vote on who could possibly take on the role of Tracy Q. In which fans are sharing and craving for a return by some outstanding stalwarts as well; 'As the World Turns' alum Colleen Zenk [ex-Barbara] and 'One Life to Live' alum Robin Strasser [ex-Dorian]. Fans are hopeful that should the show decide to recast the role, one of these ladies are hired. And, from the looks of their recent tweets they certainly welcome the idea.
So, who would you like to see as Nu-Tracy if the role was recast?
@Piano_Joe @SoapCities @InPortCharles @GeneralHospital @ColleenZenk I think #ColleenZenk would be great addition to ANY show in ANY ROLE! Truly a smart-talented-fabulous woman!— robin strasser (@robinstrasser) April 2, 2017
Thanks, Robin, you multi-fabulous gal! Xoxo https://t.co/QSxJrX8W1j— Colleen Zenk (@ColleenZenk) April 2, 2017
