2016 has been TOUGH. I have physically experienced more pain than I had in all my years combined, walked through the emotional roller coaster of a difficult pregnancy, a cervical cancer scare, and a possible autoimmune disease diagnosis that was just two days ago discovered to be (Lord willing!!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻) a month long bout with E. coli. I sit in my pjs at home now, roast my momma made for us in the oven, anxiously waiting to take my next dose of antibiotic and tear up at just how TOUGH it was. But 2016 was also BEAUTIFUL. Our hearts were stolen yet again by our precious, healthy, happy Everly. Our Riley is healthy and curious and so very kind. My husband held my hand and prayed with me and over me and was my strength when I didn't have it. My beautiful family loved on me and loved on my babies. Friends who have become family loved on us, too.. took me to doctors appointments. Remembered when I was getting test results. Made us dinner. Took Riley to the movies and let her play until late. Brilliant doctors used their talents and showed me compassion. Both loved ones and people I have never met lifted me and my little family up in prayer. It was the toughest year, yet the most beautiful. Full of love. Life is ironic like that. God is BIG like that. So tonight I am full of grace, right where I'm at. And I pray for strength, peace and HEALTH tomorrow and all the days of 2017 from our family to yours. Thank you for being on this journey with us and for loving us. Our hearts are so full. ❤️
