Reginald: Thank you, I'm extremely blessed and grateful for the interview. I landed the role by way of auditioning through my agent, Angie Moncrief of Action Talent. I've auditioned with Queen Sugar several times, and this one worked.
What can you tease about your character Trucker on this upcoming season, season 2?
Reginald: Everything is TOP SECRET! EVERYTHING! LOL. The cast, and crew have done an amazing job, season 2 will be great!
So, what has it been like being a part of the show so far; meeting the cast, the writers and the entire team behind the show - what has your experience been like so far?
Reginald: Everyone extremely nice, a great cast and crew all around. I spoke with Kofi Siriboe, we had a chance to get acquainted and just motivate each other with some words of positivity.
So far on your IMDB profile you're only listed for only one episode - will there be more than one?
Reginald: For now you'll see me in one episode, but that's left up to production. So we'll see.
What does the future look like for you on the show - will you be around for the long haul?
Reginald: Again, I'm not sure which direction the series will go, but I'm extremely excited about my future going forward.
In the past you've appeared on series such as NCIS: New Orleans, Breakout Kings and more - will you be making any more appearances soon?
Reginald: Absolutely! I love working in television. I'm extremely focused on securing a role as a series regular. You'll definitely see more appearances of me.
Have you ever considered doing a daytime role - say on one of the remaining suders such as The Young and the Restless. General Hospital, The Bold and the Beautiful or Days of Our Lives? If so what sort of role could you see yourself playing?
Reginald: Actually, I have. When I first started out in film, I moved out to L.A and some opportunities were presented. Daytime television is a unique platform. I would love to portray a character with some depth to himself. A character viewers would love to hate or vice versa.
Let's backtrack for a little bit - what inspired you to get into acting? Tell us the story of how you got your big break.
Reginald: I've dabbled in the arts since I was a kid. From church, to annual black history plays in my hometown of Monroe, La. I took things more seriously in college, at Grambling State University. There was a couple opportunities to audition for lead roles, and I book both roles. From there I decided to give film a shot, so I would travel to New Orleans when I wasn't consumed with class and work as an extra. One day I received a chance to audition for a major supporting role in the award winning film New Hope, as Coach Miller. I booked! Haven't looked back since.
What can fans look forward to from you in the near future? Any other projects besides Queen Sugar on the horizon for you?Reginald: Look for me this summer, I have some projects in the works! I'm really blessed to do what I love. I'm also in the process of creating my own content, so be on the look out for more info on that via my social media.
And, finally what keeps you busy outside of acting - any personal relationships, romantic relationships or business adventures?
Reginald: Just remaining creative! I think right now that's my sole focus. I'm also passionate about advancing the next generation. No romantic relationship as of yet, but who knows what the future may hold haha.
So, there you have it fans! Are you anxious to see him on season 2 of Queen Sugar? Do you think he should join daytime? Which Show would you love to see him on?
