Since being shot, transported to the hospital and sharing a couple scenes with friends and his wife, Jason Morgan in person of Billy Miller has not been seen and fans are worried that Miller has left 'General Hospital'. However, the good news is reports suggest that though we are not seeing Miller in scenes currently he will be back. Miller reportedly inked a new deal with the show just before they rehired Steve Burton for what is expected to be the tale of two Jasons storyline. My guess is that GH is keeping Miller off the scene as a means of building up the suspense for this upcoming storyline.
So glad, Burton is back and the show's on track!
On September 19th at the end of the episode, Burton unveiled himself as patient 6 - but, who exactly is he? That part, we'll just have to wait and see. Another good thing is that this is not the first time that Burton and Miller will work on the same soap. Daytime fans would remember that before they swapped shows, Miller played the role of Billy Abbott on 'The Young and the Restless' while Burton played 'Dylan McAvoy' on the CBS daytime drama. And now they are set to play on the same soap again.
On the topic of his return, Burton told Soap Opera Digest that he contacted Miller when he learned he would be back on 'GH'. “I called Billy before I came back. I said, ‘Hey man you called me when you were taking Jason and obviously, you heard I’m coming back. I just wanted to tell you I’m looking forward to it and I hope you stay because I think we’re going to have some cool story.”
Obviously, we'll just have to wait and see exactly what this "cool story" is - are you excited GH fans?
