Martha Madison who is set for a return as Belle Black on 'Days of Our Lives' this holiday season is doing a good task. Madison has joined in with the AFTD Cure group whose vision is a world where FTD is understood, effectively diagnosed, treated, cured and ultimately prevented to tell the story of her mom who was diagnosed with the disease and help others.
AFTD Cure has partnered with Discovery on a mission to shed light on the disease. Madison shared on her website in a mother's day post that her mother has been ill for as long as she can remember. In 1982, her mom was diagnosed with MS and then diagnosed with Frontal Temporal Dementia (FTD) in 2008. The good thing is her mom has never let anything get in the way of her dreams.
In this regards, Madison is telling the story of her mom with this campaign to shed light on the FTD disease and help others in the FTD Awareness. Check out a little bit of her story below!
