Woo-hoo! As the World Turns fan fave Trent Dawson is back as Huxley Lynch on General Hospital. And we all know what that means, right?! Mayhem and trouble with a capital ‘T’!
Dawson, who played the role of Henry Coleman from 1998 - 2010 on ATWT, is back on GH to reprise the role of Huxley Lynch. Dawson’s first airdate is set for this Friday, October 6th. He will be on for a few episodes, with the possibility of more in future.
Speaking with Dawson on his return to the ABC soap, he highlights just how thrilled he is to be back. "I'm really happy to be back. I like working there and Frank Valentini (GH’s EP) and the crew make it a great place to work," he told us.
So, what will Huxley be up to this time around? Dawson wouldn’t elaborate except to say, “I'm involved in the return of a beloved GH character. And the actor in question was a blast to work with." As you can see from the picture above, the actor is referencing fellow GH returnee, Steve Burton (aka Patient 6).
GH viewers might remember Huxley first made his appearance back in June of last year on a plane to London with fellow passengers Nikolas Cassadine (ex-Tyler Christopher) and Ava Jerome (Maura West). At the time, Nikolas was hiding his identity, pretending to be an actor named Niall Carradine. Huxley, who carried a British accent, acted as if he was a fan of Nikolas’ alter ego. Due to his dinner invitation being rejected, Huxley hijacked Nikolas and Ava and held them captive at Lynch Manor during his first run on the ABC Daytime soap.
So, what do you think brings Huxley back on the scene? With Huxley back, can Nikolas be far behind?! GH airs weekdays on ABC, so be sure to tune in tomorrow to see what happens!
