'General Hospital' fans are getting used to a newcomer, Gene Farber, who has been playing the role of Dr. Richard Klein since September 21, 2017. Farber is quite new to daytime but is no amateur to the acting business.
So, here's what we know about this talented guy that 'GH' has recently hired:
Farber was born on November 14th in Minsk, Belarus. He has been acting for over 10 years. Farber began building up his list of acting credits with a guest appearance as Eddie Travandze on "Law & Order" in 2003 and Christian on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" in 2004. After making his first appearance in primetime, Farber moved on to making his name as a movie star. In 2004, he played the role of Bristow in the film "Spy Games: Illegal". In 2006 he played Bristow in the following two installments of the Spy Games film: "Spy Games: A Trap for the Sage" and "Spy Games: The Black Wolf Hunt".
Farber then made another guest appearance on "Law & Order" this time playing the role of Konstantin Vassinky in 2008. He also played roles on primetime series such as; The Mentalist, Numb3rs, Lie to Me, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, 24, In Plain Sight, The Whole Truth, Undercovers, Law & Order: LA, CSI: NY, Vegas, Person of Interest, Perception, Elementary, Mistresses, Shooter and Rosewood. He has appeared in films such as; Virtuality, X-Men: First Class, Captain America: Civil War, Behind Enemy Lines and One Under the Sun.
Since September 2017, Farber has been playing the role of Dr. Klein, the doctor who 'GH' viewers first met in Russia at the clinic with Patient 6 (Steve Burton) and Ava (Maura West). Now, Dr. Klein is running around Port Charles in cahoots with Dr. Maddox (Anthony Montgomery). Have you been enjoying the character so far 'GH' fans?
