Fans of 'The Haves and the Have Nots', 'If Loving You Is Wrong' and 'Days of Our Lives' are in for one big treat when stars from their favorite shows team up and share the screen in an upcoming movie, "Runnin' from my Roots". The film was previously working with the title "Take Two for Faith" but has however been renamed.
"Runnin' from my Roots" is directed by Nancy Criss and written by Kenneth Lemm and tells the story of a country music star, Faith Winters (Janelle Arthur) whom following a very public fall from grace seeks refuge in her rural Texas hometown, where she rediscovers feelings for her high school sweetheart, the local pastor (O'Connell).
'The Haves and the Have Nots' Aaron Connell (Wyatt Cryer) tackles a lead part playing the role of Gavin Whitfield, the local pastor who is reunited with his high school sweetheart. On the other hand If Loving You Is Wrong's Joel Rush (Eddie) plays the role of Cameron while former 'Days' actor Patrick Muldoon (ex-Austin Reed) plays the role of Seth Ingram, a music producer.
Though they both work for Tyler Perry, this will be the first time O'Connell and Rush share the big screen. Likewise though both Rush and Muldoon has appeared on 'Days' in separate times this will also be their first time sharing the screen. Currently, the film is working with a tentative January 8, 2018, release date but in the meantime, fans can watch the very interesting trailer video below.
