Juliet Mills is a talented British and American actress and the daughter of Sir John Mills and Mary Hayley Bell. Mills got her start in acting in 1942 when she played the role of Freda's Baby in the film "In Which We Serve". After doing many films and television roles, she later into the soap opera genre, starting out with the role of Judge Edith Hogan in 1985 on 'All My Children'. Mills later became popular in the soap genre with her portrayal of Tabitha Lennox on "Passions", a role she played from 1999 - 2008 and earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in 2005. It's been 9 years since the cancellation of "Passions" and no doubt fans miss the soap as well as its ensemble cast. So, would former star, Mills return to daytime soaps?
In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest, Mills says, "Yes I would, but not long term". Mills went on further to lay out what would allow her to consider a return, "I'd love to do a little stint on soap, but...Passions was nine years. I can't see myself doing something like that, it really does take over your whole life. Especially with Tabitha. I was always talking to inanimate objects or animals! I used to have these great, long monologues. It was very hard work. I loved every minute of it. But I don't think I'm up to that kind of hard work at this point. But to do an arc on daytime...there's some fine actors on daytime. They're very underestimated."
While we anticipate seeing Mills back on soaps, she's got something coming up that fans can look forward to. Mills will play the role of a grandmother in the movie "Jo. the Medicine Runner" set for release in 2018. So, which soaps and what roles would you like to see Mills tackle for a story arc in the future?
