Peter Reckell spent a number of years playing the role of Bo Brady on 'Days of Our Lives' and was well loved by viewers. Unfortunately, the character was killed off back in 2015. Reckell originally joined the cast back in 1983 when he originated the role of Caroline Brady (Peggy McCay) and Shawn Brady's (Frank Peter) son until it was revealed that he's Victor's (John Aniston) son in 1985. Reckell played the role on and off from 1983 until 2012. He was brought back specifically for the show's 50th anniversary in 2015 when his character died in the arms of his great love, Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso). Reckell also returned in 2016 briefly for a Hope-Centric episode. Throughout his run on the show he was paired with a number of women most significantly; Hope, Carly Manning (Crystal Chappell) and Billie Reed (Lisa Rinna/Julie Pinson). He worked in the fields of a police detective, bounty hunter, and merchant marine. Reckell's hard work didn't go unrecognized as he earned himself a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in the category of Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2009. Unfortunately for many viewers, he chose to take a big break from acting hence the reason his character was killed off. He in his spare time enjoys practicing yoga, martial arts, swimming, horseback riding and mountain biking. He is also a family man who is married to Kelly Moneymaker and has been since April 1998. Together they have one child, a daughter, Loden Sloan. We know many fans may not like the back from the dead storyline but Soap Opera News has been thinking that bringing Bo back during Hope and Rafe's (Galen Gering) wedding could be a smart move if only the show and Reckell could come to an agreement. What do you think fans? Should Reckell consider a return to the show?
