Soap Alum, Chrishell Stause despite difficulties in her upbringing has managed to become a popular star and a household name today and it's not just because she's married to a popular superstar but also because of her years in daytime. Daytime viewers may remember her as Amanda Dillon on 'All My Children' or Jordan Ridgeway on 'Days of Our Lives' or even as Bethany Bryant on 'The Young and the Restless'. They may also be aware of her marriage to real-life superstar Justin Hartley but they may not have had any knowledge of some of the difficulties in her upbringing.
In an interview with Page Six, the former soap star shares of her being homeless at different points in her life. Stause reflects and highlights, "I was homeless a few times in my life and it was really hard growing up, but now I’m super grateful about everything." Stause also notes of her high school homeless days, "As you can imagine, as a high schooler it wasn’t the coolest thing. It was just really hard to live the lie at school and make sure no one knows and being really embarrassed about it. Even talking about it now I start to sweat."
Now, she is putting her experience to good use. "I definitely relate to any kid who has lived without running water or electricity or having to be the smelly kid going to school because you don’t have the resources. It’s hard. I really relate to them and I want to help them as much as possible. It’s a unique situation that you’ll never forget where you came from," she shared as she now partners with Blessings in a Backpack and Upward Bound House to help persons in a similar situation.
