General Hospital's Risa Dorken is gearing up to mark her second anniversary as Nurse Amy Driscoll in May but she's celebrating something special today. It's the second anniversary of he day she got her call back. In light of that and the amazing time she's had with the cast and crew, Dorken took to social media with big thank you message for her supporters. "@generalhospitalabc," she wrote as she continued, "#ghI remember thinking it went well, and that the character seemed SO... me. But as an actor, you learn not to over analyze (or get your hopes up. Later that afternoon my agent called and told me they offered me the role. I am so grateful for the time I’ve spent in Port Charles laughing, singing, dancing, gossiping, crying and learning. It’s brought me friends and opportunities I’ve dreamt of my whole life. Thank you all for your support over the past 2 years and 70+ episodes. It’s truly an honor. Warmest wishes, Amy Driscoll"
Dorken first stepped on the scenes as Amy in early May 2016 when she gossiped with Maxie (Kirsten Storms) at the Hospital. It's truly been a fun ride and we've been enjoying her, here's to many, many more!
