Former soap star, Stephanie Gatschet after 20 years of acting in theatre, film, and television is now exploring a new interesting career path. Gatschet, a Cali-based nutrition enthusiast, Mom, blogger and eternal student has now become a Holistic Nutritionist and is offering her services to fans. Gatschet looks back at her acting career where she is best known for her roles as; Madison North on 'All My Children' and Tammy Winslow on 'Guiding Light' and shares, "A few years ago I made a bold choice to pack up and leave my home in Los Angeles, leaving behind a twenty-year career as an actress in theatre, film, and television".
Gatschet went on further to share, "I was ready for a change, and sought a more low-key lifestyle away from the ups and downs of the entertainment business. I followed my instincts and moved to San Diego. I had felt a major shift in my life after dropping my most unhealthy eating habits (hi! Former soda and candy addict over here!) and choosing to enjoy a mostly plant-based diet, in addition to studying Buddhist meditation and adopting a spiritual practice that I felt deeply connected to. I studied holistic health at the Natural Healing Institute in Encinitas and developed a passion for nutrition and wellness. I spent a few years working for naturopathic and other integrative doctors, soaking up refreshing perspectives on health, and increasing my knowledge of functional medicine.
Gatschet is encouraging fans to get involved as she shared, "t
“In delay there lies no plenty.” -William Shakespeare For years I’ve intended to start writing, to share the incredible things I’m learning and discovering in my work with functional medicine doctors and my studies in holistic nutrition. I’ve begun so many times to outline the topics I’d like to share in the form of a blog, but something has held me back from just getting it done already. It is in my nature to procrastinate, but I realize that this bad habit is helping no one, so I’ve gotta change it! A lot of great entrepreneurs and practitioners that I admire in the wellness world have given advice (in their own writing and in podcast interviews) to stop putting off getting started, that your website doesn’t have to look perfect, your brand be perfectly established; heck, you don’t even need to entirely know what it is you’re even doing yet— just BEGIN! Get something out there. This urge to share is energizing; it’s why I’m going to school and following a new career path, my wish to know more about what wellness means and how we can all increase our sense of it, and my wish to share what I love with others. So here it is, friends. I published my website, imperfections and all 😱 Please share your thoughts with me, and let me know if there are particular nutrition topics you wanna explore together! *Nourishing foods *Inner peace *Positive lifestyle Link to the site in my bio ✨😀 📷: @melrosephoto • • #wellnessfromwithin #nutrition #holistichealth #blog #startnow #wellness #nourish #innerpeace #positivelifestyle #thebeginning
