One of daytime television's best guys is about to be back on television in an all-new role. Former 'Guiding Light' superstar Robert Newman who played the role of Josh Lewis for many, many years has landed a role on the hit series, "House of Cards". In our recent live chat with him, he revealed that he was set for a role on the Netflix drama but couldn't share much at the time. However, Newman recently took to his Facebook account to share that he had an amazing time filming in Baltimore for the upcoming 6th season of "House of Cards". Although he couldn't share any details on the character or the storyline he did note how much of a great experience it was working with the "House of cards" family. Newman will play the role of Henry, an EPA admin in episode 1 and 2 of the 6th season.
After a 5 season run, "House of Cards" was renewed for a 6th season with production in Baltimore. The hit Netflix political drama is set to return with it's 6th and final season on November 2, 2018. Newman is not the only daytime star who landed a role on the series. Notably, General Hospital alum Vinessa Antoine (ex-Jordan) has also landed a role on the show. Watch the trailer below!
