The team for the film is currently raising funds for production. Nate Hapke helms the film as Writer and Director. This is his 11th short film which is a deeply personal one with a universal theme. It centers around a grieving man who finds solace in the presence of his wife and daughter in the moments leading up to having to eulogize his mother.
In life, there's only one guaranteed event: death. You can prepare as much as you think you need to before losing a loved one, but you'll never quite be ready for that feeling of absence. That longing for another moment, another smile, another dance that will never come. When we lose a loved one, it is in the physical sense only. They live on in the rest of our family, in our memories, and how we live everyday. This film tells the tale of how we as humans can move forward beyond a tragedy with the help of others.
Nate Hapke is an award-winning filmmaker with a passion for people and stories. He works full time as a DGA Prod. Associate, as an Emmy Winning Member of the General Hospital directing team.
Julie Romano and Danielle Rayne are set as co-stars playing the roles of Freddi Westfield and Judith Westfield respectively. Sophia Zach is also listed as a producer.
