The new digital series/soap opera Asunder will release its official Opening Title Sequence/Credits on all social media platforms on Thursday, November 8, 2018. The Opening Title Sequence/Credits feature the four co-stars of Asunder, actor Robert McKay from the Oscar nominated film Hidden Figures who stars as the Chandler family patriarch Thomas; Guiding Light Alumnus Kim Brockington who played psychiatrist Dr. Felicia Boudreau on the show from 2001- 2009; as sassy matriarch Adele Chandler, Thomas Chandler’s wife. Rounding out the co-stars are Soap Opera Digest Awards and Indie Series Award nominated actress Lauren B. Martin, who took on the role of the very loving yet vulnerable Camille Bennett on the popular daytime soap opera As The World Turns from 1997-2000; is the seductive antagonist Serena Hanes; and Indie Series Award nominated actor Tony D. Head who had a recurring role on HBO’s hit television series The Wire as Major Bobby Reade is the patriarch of the Blair family, Austin Blair. Season One Episodes 1-3 of Asunder the Series will be released on Amazon Prime this December. 

 Asunder’s series regulars in the Opening Title Sequence also include Audrey Looye (Another World, All My Children, Confessions of a Teenage Cannibal); Landra V. White (Winter Cabin, Blinded by Love); Dwayne Parker (Undercover Blue, Pyramids, Fuge, Chocolate City); Dorell Anthony (Pride The Series, Blue Bloods, General Hospital, All My Children, Friday Night Lights); and Law Mason (Anacostia). 

 Asunder The Series is written, directed, and produced by Landra V. Phillips; and is Co-Executive Produced by Dwayne Parker. Phillips and Parker are also actors in the series. A drama and theater teacher for 12 years with the New York City Department of Education, Ms. Phillips has always had a passion for soap operas and episodic writing. She founded Six Feet High Productions LLC, a boutique film production company based in New York City and Atlanta to fuel her passion for filmmaking and acting. Phillips says, “I’m extremely excited about our official Opening Title Sequence/Credits. I truly feel this title sequence will give a sneak peek into the ongoing rivalry between the Chandlers and the Blairs; that soap opera fans and a new generation of viewers will eventually be exposed to.” Asunder follows the affluent yet dysfunctional Chandler family who owns Chandler Parfums and Cosmetics Corporation in New York City. The Chandlers are always trying to stay one step ahead of their arch enemies the Blair family, who own Blair Natural Fragrances Ltd.
