TK Weaver exits General Hospital as Danny Morgan. See what he had to say here--->>
If you've tuned into General Hospital today, you will notice that the role of Danny Morgan was no longer being played by TK Weaver. Weaver who had been playing the role since 2016 shared on Twitter, "I found out a couple weeks ago but I was asked not to tell anyone.
Broke my heart. I love you all so much. I love my GH family and all of you who make my day everyday!!!! You guys are the best". TK told Soap Opera News, "the best thing about GH was my family on the show and the fans. I love my fans so very much. Truly. They make my days." Speaking with his mom who runs the account, she noted that both Billy Miller (Drew) and Steve Burton (Jason) reached out to TK after the news of his exit. So fans, what do you think about the recast?
I want to give a shoutout to my amazing @GeneralHospital family. I loved being Danny Morgan for 3 years. I learned so much. I wish I could have grown up more on the show but it didn’t happen unfortunately. 😢Good luck to the new Danny!! I hope you all love him too! Truly.— TK Weaver (@tkweaveractor) May 31, 2019
Huge thank you to @1SteveBurton who called me to make sure I was okay & that I wasn’t feeling like the recast was my fault. He has continued to touch base to make sure I’m okay. He is such a good person with great advice. I learned so much from him. I was so lucky to meet him. 🙏🏻— TK Weaver (@tkweaveractor) May 31, 2019
I want to thank @kellymonaco1 for being the most beautiful & classiest set mom a kid could ever ask for. Also the amazing #billymiller who isn’t on social media but who called me with great advice & offered to come to my house and give me a big bear hug if ever I need one. 🙏🏻❤️👦🏼— TK Weaver (@tkweaveractor) May 31, 2019
