Disney’s The Descendants are taking over your Labor Day weekend!
The hit Disney Channel Original trilogy, The Descendants, has garnered an impressive fanbase since it’s debut in 2015. The third installment in the series has already reached over 20 million views worldwide since it’s premiere on August 2, 2019. The film’s soundtrack also found itself on the Billboard Top 200! There is no doubt that fans can’t get enough of The Descendants…and now Disney is giving us more!
During Labor Day weekend Disney Channel will showcase never before seen behind-the-scenes material along with Descendants 3. The BTS content will spotlight the cast Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart, Sarah Jeffery, Thomas Doherty, Dylan Playfair, China Anne McClain, Cheyenne Jackson, and director/choreographer Kenny Ortega (High School Musical).
The fans will also be treated to an amazing inside look at the intricate choreography, wardrobe and the creative process behind the catchy music.
- Saturday, Aug. 31 (8:00 p.m. EDT/PDT), viewers will be invited behind the scenes for the cast's recording sessions and choreography rehearsal. Choreographer Jamal Sims will provide commentary on the creative process for the spectacular 100 person finale number, "Break This Down."
- Sunday, Sept. 1 (8:00 p.m. EDT/PDT), the audience will get a closer look at the movie's intricate wardrobe including the "Pirate Chic," "Motor Sport Punk," "Scallywag Swag," "Dandy Candy" looks, plus Audrey's "Queen of Mean" feathered cape and Hades' rock 'n' roll ensemble.
- Monday, Sept. 2, beginning with "Descendants" at 4:00 p.m., "Descendants 2" at 6:00 p.m. and "Descendants 3" at 8:00 p.m., EDT/PDT. Cheyenne Jackson as "Hades" debuts a brand new song, "Hades Rocks," during the special sing-along versions of all three movies, with song lyrics visible on the screen.
