Days of Our Lives
Stefan asked Ben to help him investigate who is the mysterious woman that Hope saw and who Hope and Stefan think killed Ted. Ben said that Stefan gave him a job and a chance when no one else would so even though he was employed by Mrs. DiMera he was going to help Stefan. Hope enlisted John's help to find out who killed Ted and told him she suspects Nicole. And last week Wilson who wants to know what Xander is hiding was put in the who shot Ted mix too. That's a lot of vets investigating a character who was barely there, did he make a year? LOL. #Cin ended up under the bed in NotNicole/Kristen's room and got an earful. They didn't get the proper noun but they did find out that there is someone above "Nicole" and Kate who is really pulling all the strings. And that is the person who kidnapped Kate and Ted and most likely killed Ted. Anna found out that Tony is alive and married to "Nicole." She begged Tony to end his so-called sham of a marriage and to be with her. Tony told Anna that after all this time she was still the love of his life but to preserve the family legacy and keep DiMera Enterprises from Stefan he had to stay married to "Nicole." He didn't mention to Anna that Kristen had pretty much given him no choice. Kristen told Tony if he even so much as thought about leaving her for Anna or ruined her plans she'd put a bullet in Anna. This Kristen is ice ice ice ice cold. Anna told Tony if he didn't divorce "Nicole" she was marrying Roman.
Brady told John and Chloe that he's back together with "Nicole." And he told Chloe he has no idea why he's in bed with Nicole and thinking about Kristen. Brady. Brady. Brady. Kristen daydreamed of shooting Marlena as always. Marlena and Kristen posing as NotNicole had a good brouhaha. John and Marlena are both planning surprise anniversary parties for each other. Too cute. Eve is suing Jack for wrongful termination. We get that. But Justin, Adrienne's wife, who is Jack's sister, agreed to represent Eve. That we don't get. Moving on. Xander is working on a new immunity deal after NotNicole left him a message that she was going to set him up to take the fall for Ted's murder. He all but confessed to Hope and John that Stefan was innocent but wasn't dropping any proper nouns without an ironclad new deal in place. Rafe told Gabi Stefan is the last person I want you with but you never listen to me anyway. So admit you love him, go get your man and lets all move on with our lives. Stefan got Mr. Shin to agree to hold off on meeting with "Nicole" until he had time to get more evidence that she is the one who is framing him. NotNicole thought it was Gabi who had sabotaged her meeting with Mr. Shin. NotNicole stormed to the DiMera mansion and she and Gabi got into it physically. Face-off, mask off, Gabi, "OMG Kristen!!!" It's gonna be good this week y'all!!!!
General Hospital
Julian and Kim spreading the word about their plans to move to NY. But our PC resident psychic let us know Julian isn't moving. Neil and Alexis were both seeking counsel from Kevin. But Kevin can't see both so Alexis has to go find yet another shrink. Mike and Yvonne had a faux wedding even though she is still married to Marcus. Go figure. Moving on. Oh, all that faux wedding bliss gave Carson the idea to renew their vows. Stellar got a phone call from the mystery relative a second third cousin once removed something like that. Bottom line is we are guessing we got ahead of ourselves and Trina isn't Curtis' daughter? Darn it. Stellar is going to London for a while and will return. We got a Nikolas is alive and in danger tease via our resident psychic. We are not going to believe any of this. We are doubting Thomas. GH will have to do much more to make us believe that our dark prince is coming back. Until then we refuse to get our hopes up. Sasha remained in quarantine and the doctors are still trying to figure out what is wrong with her.
Dr. O busted Hayden snooping around Wyndemere. Hayden told Dr. O if she kept her secret she would get her a dinner date with Jax who Dr. O is obviously sweet on. Franco woke up "Drewed". He is convinced he is Drew despite seeing Franco's face in the mirror. He ran into Kim and went down memory lane with her before kissing her. Liz is devasted. Monica thinks it is a good idea because maybe Drew can fill in the holes of his past. Word spread around about the Drewed. Franco wasn't going to be kept in the hospital. He left. He ran into some residents of Port Charles including who he thinks is his twin Jason Morgan the rich kid with his face. It appears that Drew had known about Jason years before and had done research on him. Franco hit Chase and was arrested for assaulting a police officer.
The Young and the Restless
Adam lost his mind and asked Chelsea to let Connor live with him. We are 100% behind Adam having a relationship with his son. But what momma worth anything gonna just hand her kid over. We don't care if it is his back from the dead long lost daddy. That's gonna be a no. Connor is most definitely a Newman. The young kid has a lot of attitude! LOL. He was talking back to his momma accusing Chelsea of trying to keep him from his daddy. Phyllis is still running around asking people for money. Really? This is all you all have for Phyllis to do? Now she is trying to talk Abby into buying the hotel outright by herself and then Phyllis could work for her. Abby told Phyllis she'd think about it but Abby told Phyllis she still needed to come up with some cash to share the financial risk. Anita, 'Anita-ed' and skimmed some dirty shady money from Calvin's estate. We don't think we really understand it ourselves. But she gave Chelsea the money back and Chelsea sent Anita and the crooked estate lawyer packing but gave them a suitcase with a portion of the five million dollars as a parting gift. We aren't sure if there is more because if not what was the point?
Papa Rosales reached out to Lola in a letter. Victor paid off somebody and got a restraining order against Adam and for now, at least he can't see Christian. Adam and Victor had it out. Those were very good scenes rooted in history and Mark and Eric were stellar. And Adam told Victor he was going to take him down and his two kids. Victor was all kinds of wrong for that one. Elena is Genoa City's newest general surgeon resident. Nick and Victor wiped the slate clean for the zillionth time. Shey called a truce and it appears that they are over at least for now. Summer and Kyle shared a few nice moments. Nate and Abby will take it slow but they will stay together. We learned Kyle and Theo's big secret. They even created flashbacks. It was still lame. A seventeen year got drunk at one of their parties. They dropped her off at the hospital and paid off her daddy. Moving on. Ashley came home for the wedding. We will be seeing her a lot more. Yes! Jack talked Celeste into coming to the wedding. Kyle did a great job. The setting for the wedding was beautiful. The couple exchanged vows in front of all of their family and friends. Kola is married. Congrats Kola STANS!
The Bold and the Beautiful
Everyone tried to come to grips that Beth is Alive and Phoebe is Beth. Ridge spoke up for his daughter. Brooke spoke up for hers. Liam did what Liam does straddle the fence. Steffy was beyond devastated when Hope took Beth home with her. Sally told Wyatt if he wanted her back after dumping her and then going straight for Felony Flo he was going to have to really work for it. Lope settled in with Beth. Douglas worried his daddy would be mad at him for telling the truth about Beth. Brooke, Hope, Ridge, etc all encouraged him that he did the right thing by telling the truth. They told Douglas he was a hero. Meanwhile, Thomas continues to unravel while crashing at his friend's Vinny's place and ignoring Ridge's calls. Vinny who must not realize that Thomas is psycho encouraged him to stand his ground. Don't encourage him Vinny. Thomas kept acting like it is not completely over between him and Hope. Like he could get Hope back. Yep, he is pyscho.
Eric, Quinn, Katie, Donna dropped by Brooke and Ridge's place to remeet Beth. Quinn defended her friend Shauna and Flo and said there had to be an explanation. Um yeah Quinn, Flo took money for a baby. She didn't tell anyone and her momma told her to keep her mouth shut. There is your explanation. Later on during the week, Batie and Will dropped by the cabin to see the baby. Bill held his granddaughter. Ridge fired Zoe and Xander and Reese was arrested. The Logan Sisters lit into Shauna. Shauna tried to defend the indefensible. The Sisters went on and on about how Flo was a lying thief and her momma an accomplice. No lies were told. But Brooke taking the moral high ground? Not sure about that one. LOL. Flo was over in the cabin waiting for Hope to try and explain and ask her forgiveness. Flo...um....
Performers of the Week!
Performer of the Week is Jacqueline Wood! (Steffy, Bold and the Beautiful)
Jacqueline picked up right where she left off the week before. Steffy gutted our soap hearts with her realization then acceptance that Phoebe is Beth. Who said blood is thicker than water? Steffy loves Beth as if she is her very own. As Steffy said she gave Beth every ounce of her love. She wasn't prepared for someone to come and take her baby from her. How can you apologize and then take her away? Steffy was in the worst possible situation one could imagine through no fault of her own. Ridge was right there next to his daughter trying to be the support she so desperately needed. Steffy cried and pleaded but in the end, she did what a real mom does she loved her daughter enough to do the right thing. She loved her daughters enough not to fight. She knew, in the end, it wouldn't be good for anyone. Jacqueline gave a heartbreaking performance. The kind that goes in there with bare hands, grabs your heart and twists and turns it in knots. Yeah, that kind. The tears, sobbing, wailing, and moaning and Steffy collapsing into Ridge's arms when Hope left with Beth are moments that will be etched in soap history forever. Jacqueline that was another Emmy winning worthy performance!
Our Honorable Mentions of the Week are Leann Hunley & Thaao Penghlis! (Anna & Tony DiMera, Days of Our Lives). Listen. These two still have it. They lit up our screens. Who said you can't go home again? This was old school soap romance and chemistry. The love, the fighting, the back and forth between Tony and Anna, it was as if no time had passed. When Tony and Anna sat on the bench gazing into each other's eyes one second and fighting the next, oh my it took us back! We were happy soapers! This is the stuff you can't be taught. It's either there or it is not. These two have it and they knew how to bring it out individually and with each other. Their nuisances, their timing, the ease with each other, the undeniable chemistry all telltale signs of being dynamic screen partners. Take notes people this is how it is done. This is soap romance and angst at its best. We thank Leann and Thaao from the bottom of our soaps hearts because sometimes we don't get this nearly enough. We enjoyed every second and can't wait to see how this newest journey for Tanna unfolds! Long live the soap opera supercouple! So good Leann and Thaao!!
