A number of soap stars worked together on a film last year that now has a release date. The film which was previously titled "No Place Like Home" is now named Home Is Where the Killer Is and will be released on Netflix on October 8, 2019.
The film is written by Christina Welsh and directed by Kaila York (Who makes her Directorial debut). The film is also produced by Rick Bennattar and Nigel Thomas. The soap studded cast includes; Kelly Kruger (ex-Eva, The Bold and the Beautiful and MacKenzie Browning, The Young and the Restless), John-Paul Lavoisier (ex-Rex Balsom, One Life to Live and ex-Philip Kiriakis, Days of Our Lives), Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters, Y&R), Christopher Sean (Paul Narita, DAYS), Annie Leighton (ex-Stephanie Gayle, Y&R), Stacy Haiduck (ex-Patty, Y&R and Kristen/Susan, DAYS), Richard Speight Jr., Pallavi Sastry, Beth Littleford and Courtney Crompton.
In the film, Nicole Turner has seen better times. Having just survived a health scare and painful breakup with her boyfriend Kyle, she is now facing eviction. When she finds a room for rent with former Doctor, Julie Thomason, she also discovers a new best friend. But Nicole doesn't realize how far Julie will go to control this friendship and keep her from ever leaving. Kruger will play the role of Nicole Turner, St. John will play Dr. Fredericks, Sean will play Kyle Hayes, Lavoisier will play Benjamin Keane, Haiduk will play Julie and Leighton will play Lauren Daley.
