General Hospital has unveiled its new Nikolas Cassadine in the person of daytime newcomer, Marcus Colima. Coloma made his debut at the end of the October 31st episode. Coloma takes over from Nick Stabile who last played the role, Tyler Christopher who originated the role and Stephen Martinez who also played the role.
Addressing his new gig, Coloma first shared on Instagram, "Thank you for the welcoming comments, GH watchers. I’m excited to be a part of @generalhospitalabc Happy Halloween." Later in a conversation with Soap Opera Digest he shared, "It has been such a fun experience. I honestly wish I had done [a soap] sooner because I had no idea how great everybody was, from the writers to the producers and the directors and the actors. There’s just so much talent and so many professional people that care so much about their job, more so than I’ve seen in a lot of projects that I’ve done…. I think I can truthfully say it’s been the nicest set that I’ve ever worked on."
