The Bay is coming with a spin-off. Showrunner and Creator, Gregori J. Martin has teamed up with Wendy Riche (former General Hospital executive producer) for the news series called yA.
The series will focus on twins who relocate to California and start a new life with their family as reported by Deadline. The D'Ambrosio Twins lead the cast with former soap stars such as; Vivica A. Fox (ex-Stephanie, The Young and the Restless) as Dr. Angela Foster, Gilles Marini (ex-Ted Laurent, Days of Our Lives), Jaime Luner (ex-Liza, All My Children), Ian Buchanan (ex-Duke Lavery, General Hospital et al). Jacob Young (ex-Rick Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful et al), Brad Maule (ex-Tony, GH), Alla Korot (ex-Allie, AMC), Wanda de Jesus (ex-Santana, Santa Barbara), Lane Davis (ex-Cameron, GH), Fiona Hitchinson (ex-Gabrielle, One Life to Live) and other stars such as Kristos Andrews, Eltony Williams and Michael Copon.
The ten-episode first season of yA is currently being shopped and is slated to debut in winter 2020. Andrews, Martin, and Riche will executive produce the show, with Andrews and Martin directing. Martin and Riche co-wrote the episodes.
