Joss was upset and worried for Michael after he told her about his plan to move Nelle into the Quartermaine mansion. Nelle was bragging to Carly and Willow about how good she has it at the moment between her new living arrangement and stock holdings. Willow talked with Sasha about how worried she was about Wiley being near Nelle. Sasha promised to help her by moving into the Q mansion with Michael to keep an eye on her. Nina questioned Lulu about her decision to keep Charlotte from Valentin. Lulu saw the shredded picture of Sasha and Charlotte lied saying that Nina did it. Ava talked with Nik about knowing how it feels once you put your own desires over your children. They also decided on a new clause in their post-nuptial agreement. If she “cheats” on him she gets nothing. If he “cheats” on her she gets 90% of everything.
Jax set up a romantic evening for him and Nina that led to a kiss. Martin was able to get the attempted murder charge for Valentin dropped and he released on bail. Lulu told him that she was going to put a restraining order against him. Valentin talked with Martin about Nelle not knowing he was behind her legal representation. He noted how she was providing a distraction to the Quartermaine and Corinthos families. Laura met with Michael on the pier to talk about her plans for the waterfront. He mentioned the idea of not renovating every pier, for Sonny’s sake, but Laura said she wanted it all to be safe. At the same time, a man tried to shoot Michael but wound up shooting Laura. And a couple of guys started shooting at Carly, Gladys, and Sonny’s men at the warehouse.
Ava interrupted Jax and Nina’s moment, and Nina realized that she was just looking for a friend. Nikolas was looking for Liz, but after she found out about his involvement in Hayden’s disappearance she slapped him. Dustin happened to be walking by the pier when the shooting was happening and ran him off, which Joss was grateful for. Jason wound up saving everyone in the bar as he shot the perp there, and Carly was rescued by a mystery man, who turned out to be Gladys’ son Brando. After hearing from Joss that the man was aiming for Michael, Chase pleaded with him to let the police handle the situation knowing that Sonny would only escalate things. Laura’s family gathered by her side as she would need surgery to remove the bullet.
Carly was suspicious about Brando’s appearance and goes through his personal effects finding a picture of Gladys and Dev. Finn confronted Nik over Hayden. Valentin told Nina, despite Ava’s disapproval, that he would not stop until he got back everything that he lost. While everyone is pretty shaken up by the shootings, Jordan warns Jason that she will do whatever it takes to take down the threat.

Our Performer of the Week is The Young and the Restless’ Amelia Heinle
Amelia Heinle is one of the most underrated actresses in the business! It broke our hearts to watch the destruction of Victoria and Billy’s relationship. They came to an impasse as he was unwilling to conform to the pressure of being perfect and she was not ready to lie down and watch him descend into darkness. After Billy walked out, Victoria sought comfort from her parents. And the scene with Victor helping her vent her anger while showing her just how strong she is was so beautiful to watch.
Our Honorable Mention is Days of Our Lives’ Stacy Haiduk and Eric Martsolf
Stacy and Eric brought wonderful chemistry and raw emotion to their scenes this week as they talked about the loss of their daughter, Rachel. Their grief was believable as they wondered about the what-ifs in their lives and the life of their child.
