Days of Our Lives
Gabi had a golden opportunity land in her lap after Sarah and Eric asked her to be Mickey’s bone marrow donor. She told them that the only way that she would help them was if they were able to get her charges dropped. After a failed attempt with the DA, they went to Abe, who reluctantly made the deal happen. Victor offered to pull some strings to get Will out sooner and take care of anything Ari needed for life if he didn’t tell the truth about the accident. Will agreed to the deal but it was too late. Maggie started having flashes of memory from the night of the accident. She confronted Victor and Xander about what she was remembering, and finally, Xander gave in and told her the truth. Sonny came in just in time to hear them talking about Maggie being the one who killed his mom. He laid into the group as he learned the full truth.
Eli and Lani finally reunited after some urging from Valerie and Julie. Will finally got to come home after Maggie turned herself into the police. Ben covered for Ciara once he turned himself in by lying saying that he forced Ciara to hide him. Ciara continued to work to find Jordan’s killer and David’s father. Rafe discovered that Evan had been lying to him after hearing from Child Welfare about the missing letters. Upon further investigation, Rafe found out that his real name was Christian Maddox...and Ciara was told that the DNA match at the crime scene matched none other than Christian Maddox. Evan took off with David and went to Sonny’s. Once Sonny told him that Will was out of prison and that they were getting back together, Evan pulled a gun on him.
Stefano demanded that Justin give him $10 million in exchange for Kayla. Justin was able to secure the money for him but Stefano added on the condition that he would have to convince Marlena to be with him or he would never see Kayla again. Kayla worked to peek at Dr. Rolf’s notes as she was trying to escape. Unfortunately, she was stopped by Stefano on her way out. Chad had the pleasure of telling Gabi that the board had removed her as CEO. Stefano, seeing an opportunity to use Chad for his own agenda, drugged his drink. Ben had visits from Marlena and Clyde before he prepared for his execution.
The Young and the Restless
Family and friends gathered around the Newmans as they waited for Victoria to wake from her coma. Nikki called out Victor for focusing on work but once he realized he was taking on too much he began to consider Adam’s offer to run the company in Victoria’s absence. A move that Nick was not happy about. Sharon and Nick convinced Noah to go back to London and not lose momentum on his new career. Mariah started to become paranoid after Tanner was constantly answering her calls to Tessa. The final straw came when she saw that he was shirtless in Tessa’s hotel room. She accused her of cheating, refused to answer her calls, and left to spend time with Lindsey. Amanda put some distance between her and Billy telling him that if he had stayed away like she told him that Victoria wouldn’t have been hurt. Jill offered Billy a job running a new media division at Chancellor but he stubbornly turned her down.
After Abby realized that Phyllis was going to continue playing dirty, she decided to do the same. She told Phyllis that she would sell her the shares of the hotel. And then followed it up with the fact that she just bought the empty lot across the street and was going to build a bigger and better hotel. Chelsea and Adam working on wedding plans and decided to get married at Hope’s farm. Kyle and Summer’s relationship caused some distractions at work. Lola told Theo about her plans to open a new restaurant in Miami. He countered with the offer to take her out once her life was more settled. Nikki found comfort in Sharon while taking a break from the hospital. Chelsea is considering going back into fashion design. Jack told Abby that Dina’s health has really declined and she was losing her appetite.
Devon got a strange coded message from Collin and with the help of Chance and Kevin led him to an offshore bank account in his name with all of his missing inheritance sitting inside. Devon was just happy to have his money back and vowed to do more good with it as he decided to let Collin go. Chance and Abby are starting to grow more serious in their relationship. Billy snuck into Victoria’s room to be with her and she woke up. She got upset and told him to get out of her room. Nikki confronted him, telling him that he needs to get help. He denied the advice and she told him to not come anywhere near her daughter again. Chance recruited Kevin in his plan to get rid of the recording that Phyllis had of him and Adam. Jack talked with Adam about being genuine with his offer to help out his family.
General Hospital
Julian made a deal with Brad to help him get him legal help to get out of his charges in exchange for his silence. Nikolas sought out advice about Spencer from Liz. Chase continued to worry about Willow as she dealt with the aftermath of finding out the Wiley truth. Michael trying to figure out how to transition from the fun uncle to a father. Carly threatened Nelle in prison despite being advised by Jason and Sonny not to. Olivia fired Brook Lynn after she blew off work to record music secretly. Ned told her that her free ride was over and she needed to get herself together. Brook Lynn decided that her next step would be to blackmail Julian into helping her. She told him about overhearing a previous conversation with Brad and she has put the pieces together about him being part of the baby swap. She wants him to take care of her sleazy manager or she will go to Sonny. Chase told Nelle that they weren’t buying her story after finding her fake passports. Alexis was upset to learn that Sam was not going to give up on being with Jason no matter what it cost.
Franco and Liz celebrated their anniversary. Taggart and Jordan reluctantly realized that they would have to work with Sonny to take down Renault. Taggart was attacked by some of Cyrus’ guys and almost was given the deadly overdose. Laura finally got out of the hospital and was ready to take charge of the drama on the pier. She went to Sonny and told him if he didn’t handle the situation quickly she would be forced to step in. Trina and Cam came up with a plan to get him close to Joss by going to the school dance together. Their plans were thrown out the window along with their phones when they were kidnapped by one of Renault’s guys. Taggart, Jason, and Curtis were able to rescue the teens but Taggart was shot in the process. Brando stopped Dev and Joss on their way to the dance after Carly told them they couldn’t leave the house. Carly found a disturbing message in the form of a bullet in Dev’s backpack.
Ava realizes that having Brook Lynn in Julian’s circle might be beneficial to her plan as she watched her get close to Nikolas. Molly broke TJ’s heart when she turned down his marriage proposal. Alexis told Molly that she shouldn’t let her own terrible track record with marriage deter her from being with TJ. Lucas asked Alexis to be his divorce lawyer. Michael asked Willow to stay in Wiley’s life.
The Bold and the Beautiful
Hope was angry at Thomas for suggesting that Zoe could be another mom to Douglas. She confronted them after having to interrupt them for being too loud with Douglas sleeping next door. She even asked Zoe if she really wants to be married to a man that was still in love with her. Flo told Wyatt that she was willing to put their relationship aside as he cared for an ailing Sally.
Katie went to Steffy and Ridge after learning that Sally may be fired. She told them about Sally’s diagnosis and Ridge came up with the plan to work hand in hand with Sally on her designs with the couture line. Wyatt did his best to convince Sally that he and Flo were over and wanted her to move in with him. As Bill suspected, Sally was suspicious of the offer and even confronted Katie about possibly telling Wyatt the truth.
Our Performer of the Week is General Hospital’s Sydney Mikayla (Trina)
Sydney Mikayla is a star! She has been impressive from the start but she really shined this week! After being kidnapped on the way to a school dance, things went from bad to worse as Trina had to watch her father get shot while trying to save her. Sydney did a fantastic job of portraying Trina’s fear and need to save her father.
Our Honorable Mention is Days of Our Lives’ James Read (Clyde)
James has always shown his acting chops as the evil Clyde Weston. But color us surprised by the emotions that he brought to this week’s scenes as Clyde spent some last few moments with Ben before his execution. Clyde apologized to Ben for all of the terrible things he brought to his son’s life. James performed the scene with sincerity and a vulnerability that made us feel for the character...which is hard to do with his past.
