Today we are celebrating 25 years with the powerhouse actress Maura West!
On April 11, 1995, Maura made her daytime debut as Carly Tenney on the beloved - and so missed - CBS soap As The World Turns. A role that she would inhabit until the series ended in 2010. Thanks to her spunk and amazing talent Carly soon became a hit with viewers and critics alike. Carly’s romance with Jack Snyder is widely considered one of the best in soap opera history and we certainly would agree! #CarJackForever
Since leaving As The World Turns, Maura has continued her incredible work on The Young and the Restless before heading to ABC’s General Hospital as the vivacious vixen Ava Jerome in 2013. Always bringing a high level of professionalism and immense talent to her performance, her work has been met with critical acclaim and recognition. She has an impressive 12 Daytime Emmy Nominations with 3 Outstanding Lead Actress Wins in 2007, 2010, and 2015.
