It was a big evening for soap star, Tristan Rogers who won his first-ever Daytime Emmy award. The awards for digital dramas were presented this evening (July 19, 2020) during the ceremony hosted by Jai Rodriguez.
Rogers claimed the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Digital Drama Series for his role as Doc on the new web series called Studio City. Rogers is however best known to soap fans for his role as Robert Scorpio on General Hospital, a role he originated back in 1981 and Colin Atkinson on The Young and the Restless. As he accepted his award during the live ceremony he stated, "It took me 50 years to get this one!”
