The Young and the Restless alum, Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby) guests on new show. Get the details here--->>>
Hollywood Disclosure’s hilarious and heartwarming second episode begins with a bang as Serena DC and the ever-charming and handsome Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby, The Young & The Restless) discuss love, relationships, and making the transition from Australia to Los Angeles living.
“Everybody says the C-word”, says Goddard when quoting his wife of 20 years after her first experience in Australia. “You think you’re being endearing, but you're not”, laughs Goddard while explaining the differences between Australian and American mannerisms. While discussing love and relationships, Goddard explains how uncomfortable it was to talk to talk to girls growing up.
“... I realized very quickly that as a young boy you grow up really scared of girls because you think, will they judge me? Will I say the wrong thing?... You could be the wealthiest, most handsome man in the world, and if you’re really into a girl, you feel like the dumbest male on the planet.”
Over time however, Goddard realized that as long as you stay true to yourself, true love will find you. “There's nothing worse than feeling like, oh if I do this, they’re not going to love me. Or I can't say how I really feel. You know, why are you wasting your time with this person?”, said Goddard. Serena then asks about Goddard’s wife and how their relationship began. “It took me ten days to call her. Cause I had to get all my ducks in a row. I had to make sure that everything in my life is where it needed to be because I knew the moment I saw you, I didn’t want to lose this”, said Goddard. #Swoon...
Goddard then gives advice on how he’s managed to maintain a marriage for over twenty years. “Everyone I’ve met who has a good relationship and has been together like 20+ years, they have a very simpatico sense of humor”, he states. He also mentioned how he renews his vows every year in a different way to keep things fresh and fun.
Goddard also explains how the “simple” things are often the most impactful in relationships, such as flowers or a handwritten note. This episode ends on a heartwarming note that gives hope to love, relationships, and monogamy. Haven’t seen
