Days of Our Lives cast & crew officially back at work. Learn more here--->>
Days of Our Lives officially resumed production on September 1, 2020. The cast and crew were back at the studios with health protocols in place.
Ken Corday confirmed to Soap Opera Digest that there is rapid testing in place. The results are ready in 15 minutes. Surgical masks must be worn, so no cloth masks are allowed and they must be changed every four hours. Spit testing and nasal testing is required at least once a week for staff and daily for actors.
There is a sign posted at The Burbank Studios (where the show is filmed) and it states that once an individual has a cough or fever they do not enter the building. Additionally, if the staff is not feeling well they are required to go home even if they do not exhibit symptoms of COVID-19. The social distance stands as a 6 feet distance requirement between persons is in place. No congregation is allowed in common areas. Face masks must be worn at all times right up until filming. Staff is required to wash their hands often with soap and water.
