Days of Our Lives
After talking to Nicole, Eric decided to go back to Africa. Before he left town he made sure to say goodbye to his family and to broker a compromise between Nicole and Sami: Allie and baby Henry Lucas would move in with Nicole. Allie had a shock when she ran into Tripp in the town square, apparently having met him before. Xander finds Jan’s issues with Philip interesting, wondering if he can use her to take down his enemy...at least until Sarah informs him of her identity. Caring for her friend, Kristen told Lani to make things right with Eli. Ben was left hopeful after hearing from Claire that Hope believed Ciara may have not been in the car when it exploded. Tripp was relieved when he received Kayla’s blessing to finish out med school at the hospital.
Shawn, Belle, and Philip vowed to do whatever it took to keep Jan away from Claire. Brady hatched a plan to take the fall once again for Victor’s stabbing in the hopes of getting a lighter sentence than Kristen. Unfortunately, the plan never went into motion after Melinda Trask revealed she was the new DA and wanted revenge for Haley’s death. After Justin won Bonnie’s case, the two got a little too close for comfort as they shared a kiss, sending Justin into a spiral. Abby decided that she wanted to try and go back to work at the Spectator even though she continued to have small hallucinations. John confided in Steve about his struggles since awakening from his coma. After failing to drug Abby once again, Gwen visited with her partner in crime, Dr. Rolf, who suggested that she play the long con game as she hopes to take down Abby.
The Bold and the Beautiful
Thomas, still working on making amends, thanked Hope for her willingness to co-parent with him and apologized to Zoe, telling her that not everything between them was a lie. Hope wondered if Liam’s concerns for Steffy would stop her from trying to move on. Liam became concerned when it took a long time to wake Steffy. Steffy became erratic and combative when Liam began to interrogate her about her behavior. He was shocked to discover that she had a bottle of pills hidden in the couch cushions. Not believing her denial in taking the meds and worried about his daughter’s safety, Liam took Kelly from the house.
Thomas found Steffy in the middle of a freakout, claiming Liam had kidnapped Kelly. Worried about his sister he called Ridge about what he witnessed. Brooke, Hope, and Liam were concerned as Steffy showed up at the house screaming for her daughter’s return. Ridge showed up just in time to watch her breakdown admitting that she had abused the pain pills. When it seemed to her like nobody was on her side, Steffy pulled a knife on the family. Luckily, they were able to talk her down enough to drop the weapon but she ran out of the house stating that she would never forgive any of them for keeping her from her child.
General Hospital
Curtis was rightfully suspicious about Cyrus Renault’s involvement in Neil’s overdose after a source in the PCPD revealed to Renault that Neil’s OD’d on their product. Lulu had her own suspicions about Cyrus and received Peter’s blessing to investigate for the Invader. Sonny told Avery about Mike’s passing and he discovered the necklace that she had found in the woods. Things continued to be overly complicated as Dev and Cameron sought out relationship advice before attending the homecoming dance with Joss and Trina. Maxie worried that her friendship with Sam was suffering because of her relationship with Peter. Dante was tested by his doctor to see if he was ready for the opp...but the doctor seems to be taking orders from someone who knows that Dante is still a danger to himself and others. Maxie became curious about Sam’s approval of Brando. Bobbie broke up with Scotty for being a bad boyfriend.
Ava and Nikolas were surprised when they both were blackmailed by Scotty with the pictures of their infidelity. Though, the extortion plan may not go as planned as Liz became uneasy when Scotty revealed that he had asked for more money than initially planned. Ned and Brook Lynn had it out and gained hope that they could eventually work through their problems. After Ned received a call from the hotel in Monte Carlo, Brook Lynn told Ned about deleting Olivia’s voicemail. Alexis’ loved ones began to worry as the weight of Neil’s death and her Osteoporosis diagnosis started affecting her. She then found an unlikely shoulder to lean on as Valentin offered her support like she did for him. A drunk Ned started a fight with Valentin comforting Alexis after Neil’s brother blamed her for his brother’s downfall. While the boys were having it out, Alexis ordered a drink at the bar.
Stella got TJ to open up about his struggle with being kidnapped. After finding out that Nelle’s body had been recovered, Carly told Sonny and Jason the truth about the night she went over the cliff. Nikolas reached out to Martin for advice on his post-nuptial problems. Sasha felt embarrassed after attempting to comfort Michael when she heard about Mike’s death. When Willow revealed that she would be adopting Wiley, Sasha turned to drugs once again. She also tried to get Chase to see that it was too late for them to tell Willow and Michael the truth. Ethan and Robert buried the hatchet about their past. Ethan also asked Robert about his obvious connection with Olivia. Brook Lynn was put in an awkward situation when Sasha kept bringing up the idea of her singing for Deception...not revealing that she could no longer sing.
The Young and the Restless
Summer and Kyle proposed to each other but their happiness was short lived when Phyllis and Nick made their feelings known about the relationship. Eventually leaving Summer to walk out on Nick when he refused to give her his blessing. Lola broke up with Theo after realizing that he would never meet her standards. A worried and frustrated Sharon took her feelings out on Mariah. Rey and Tessa worked together to mend the problem between the two. Faith turned to Mariah as she struggled with her own worries. Adam debated whether it was the right thing to send Connor to boarding school but after realizing that Victor wanted to get his hands on the child he knew it was the best thing.
Devon made the decision to help Amanda by giving her Hillary’s birth certificate and a letter she wrote as a child. Though, the paperwork only left Amanda with more questions when she realized that she was abandoned over two hours away from where she was born. Elena became upset with Nate when he was able to convince Devon to continue to help Amanda with her questions. Devon worked to reassure Elena that this made him realize he had moved on but he isn’t fooling her or us! Amanda, on the other hand, chose to turn to Billy due to Nate being stuck in the middle of everything. Chance asked Abby to stay out of the Vegas situation after Victoria began to question his involvement.
Chelsea and Adam overhear Billy and Victoria’s plan to take him down. Adam sends Alyssa on a wild goose chase for a new lead. Nikki takes matters in her own hands when she finds out Victoria and Billy are planning something major. She goes to Lily, making it personal when she tries to convince her to stop whatever was planned. Adam feared that he would have to take drastic measures if things didn't go as he planned. Abby got scared when Chance started talking about settling down and having children.

WOW! Just when we think we’ve everything this incredible actress has to offer she surprises us with one of the most emotionally raw performances of all time! The weight of Steffy’s physical, mental, and emotional pain mixed with her denial of budding addiction finally broke this strong character. And Jacqui made us feel every single second of it! We’re calling it now....this woman has another Lead Actress Emmy in her future!
Our Honorable Mention is General Hospital’s Tajh Bellow!
We wanted to give a shout out to Tajh this week! It’s not often that we get to see the depth of this actor’s skills but this week, thanks to Aunt Stella, we did. It’s been sometime now since T.J. was kidnapped by Cyrus Renault’s people but that doesn’t mean that he is over the trauma. He revealed that he still struggles with the fact he doesn’t know who or why he was taken and that he has trouble sleeping due to ongoing nightmares. It was nice as a viewer to see inside the character’s head! Let’s hope that this means we can have more moments like this!
