Over 11,000 People Sign Petition to Joe Flanigan to General Hospital! Learn more here--->>
A short-lived General Hospital character may just have a longer future ahead. Joe Flanigan who played the role of Dr. Neil Byrne could see himself back on the ABC daytime drama if a petition with over 11,000 signatures accomplishes exactly what it set out to do in the first place.
Flanigan was introduced to fans as Neil, Alexis' (Nancy Lee Grahn) therapist in February 2019. The 's character's time on the show came to an end when he was killed off in September.
After his exit, a petition was started by a fan, Jessica Young who noted, "Joe Flanigan is a phenomenal and talented actor and he did not deserve that ending that was given to him. Please let him return to the show. He was adored by so many fans and was the perfect match for Alexis/Nancy."
Flanigan has seen the petition and is just overwhelmed by the love his fans have for him. "I can’t believe 10,000 people signed a petition to get me back on General Hospital, it’s VERY flattering! I don’t know if it makes any difference BUT I HOPE IT DOES! I would LOVE to CONTINUE doing the show!” that came from Mr. Flanigan, himself. Please sign and share my petition if you want Joe to return to GH!!"
So, should the show bring Neil back? Was it a mistake to kill him off? You can sign the petition here: change.org/JoeFlanigan. You can also gear up to see Flanigan on the upcoming season of Apple TV's See.
