The Young and the Restless
The Abbotts gathered to celebrate Dina’s life, which led to some conflict between Kyle and Theo. Summer and Kyle decided to put their feelings aside for the day but that was short-lived as hurt feelings and anger crept up at work. Jordan’s idea for Faith to go to a party didn’t end well as Faith ran off upset, leading to more bullying from her classmates. Victor made a deal with Chelsea that she would go back to Adam and try to push him back into the Newman fold and he would see about getting her access to Johnny. However, after Chelsea saw more of Adam’s plan than he wanted, he had her kidnapped. Her absence and suspicious text sent alarm bells through Chloe and Chance.
Nick was surprisingly able to broker a bit of peace between Phyllis and Victoria as they worked together to plan a grand event for Newman clients. Sally Spectra made her way into Genoa City and found herself a job - thought not the one she wanted - as Lauren’s assistant. She also ran into an old friend with Theo. Victor asked the family to come together to help Adam and Victoria thought it would be a good opportunity to test him, asking for him to give up his inheritance. Lily and Billy found it hard to hide their budding relationship in the office. Faith became upset when she saw Adam in the coffee house and confronted him about ruining people’s lives. Chance reached out to Rey about looking into Chelsea’s disappearance. Amanda told Devon that she has plans to visit with Rose’s old neighbor as part of her investigation.

Ava tried to deter Sonny from visiting with Ryan as Julian desperately turned to Cyrus for help, making a deal with him. And just as Ryan was about to tell Sonny about Julian’s involvement in Wiley’s kidnapping he got a knife to the back.
As Franco tried to deal with his tumor coming back, he turned to Kevin for advice and to Jason for help, asking him to kill him if he turned violent again. Valentin found out that Alex had returned but not in time to save himself and Anna from being tied up in a room with an explosive. Luckily, Anna was able to get them out of the building before it blew. Though, Finn was not so lucky as Alex shot him and took off with Maxie. Jackie revealed to Chase that she was divorcing his father. Epiphany noticed Terry’s odd behavior around Liz as she kept Franco’s secret. Lulu got upset with Dante when he tried to play savior when she was working with a sketchy informant.
Wanting to take down Cyrus, Lulu posted an article that she was told not to. Jason continued to get closer to Britt as part of his investigation. At the same time, Taggert revealed to Sonny that Julian had been the man he stopped from killing Nelle. Putting the pieces together, he had Jason track down Julian. Days of Our Lives
Tripp learned of Steve and Kayla’s betrayal when Allie confronted him about taking the DNA test. He was left hurt by the move but more surprising to everyone was the fact that the results came back as a match. Allie opted to move forward with her case against Tripp. Eli woke up in the hospital and found out from Lani that he had been apologizing to Kristen in his sleep. To try and save his own self he went to Brady threatening him to stay silent about his deception. The move didn’t end well as all he did was angered Brady, making him consider getting revenge. Kayla had to break up a fight between John and Steve as tensions began to boil over after Ciara’s memorial. Shawn had to stop Ben as he held him at gunpoint after not getting the information about Ciara that he wanted to hear. In addition, Shawn had to arrest Ben for taking Vincent hostage from the jail. The Bold and the Beautiful

Paris instantly found herself at home at Forrester when she met Zende. The two seemed to have instant chemistry, which led Zoe to caution her about entering into anything with him. Brooke wanted to convince Eric to dump Quinn, but ultimately she and Ridge decided to take time away from the drama and just be together.
Hope tried to hide the fact that she was bothered by how much time Liam was spending with Steffy and Kelly. Which led to Thomas overly sympathizing with her and trying to drive the wedge between them deeper. Thomas was excited when Hope asked him to join the HFTF team but was put on edge when Charlie came looking for the missing mannequin. Finn went to Liam about his Thomas suspicions, thinking that Steffy’s judgment was a bit cloudy when it came to her brother. Wanting to check things out, Liam went to Thomas’ apartment and was shocked to find the mannequin. Thomas worked to explain why he had it for design purposes but Liam wasn’t so sold. As Liam left the room, Thomas heard the doll’s request for him to kill Liam.
Our Performer of the Week is Days of Our Lives’ Lucas Adams!
It is good having Lucas back in Salem! Though the storyline is much darker than we ever expected for Tripp’s return, it has brought forth a wonderful set of performances. Tripp was shocked to learn that Steve and Kayla had gone behind his back to do the DNA test. His pain as he realized that the two people he cared about most didn’t believe him was heartbreaking. Lucas has done an incredible job showcasing the overwhelming emotions that Tripp is going through as he pleads his innocence despite the evidence saying otherwise.
Our Honorable Mention goes to General Hospital’s Finola Hughes!
No one does double-duty like Finola! Anna and Alex may be identical in appearance but they couldn’t be more opposite in personality. And Finola plays both roles perfectly! Between Anna’s heroic nature and Alex’s devious demeanor, it’s hard to choose who we are rooting for!
