Once Ava found out how much damage Julian had caused she knew that she would have to be the one to provide her brother with a mercy killing and pulled a gun on him. Before she could shoot, Jason and Sonny busted in causing a distraction long enough for Julian to jump into the water below Wyndemere. The Quatermaines gathered around Laura and Dante as they said their goodbyes to Lulu. Cyrus thought it would be a good idea to offer his condolences to Laura and received one helluva slap. Ridge stopped by Steffy’s in time to see Liam leave and learned about what had happened from Steffy. Worried about Thomas after talking with Finn, Hope went over to Thomas’ apartment to check on him. There she found a manic Thomas yelling at the mannequin. She was able to talk him down, convincing him that the doll wasn’t real and she was. But Thomas would eventually collapse and she called Finn for help. Thomas was rushed to the hospital with a traumatic brain injury leaving Hope alone in the apartment. She was then met by an enraged Liam who accused her of kissing Thomas and ruining their marriage. Finn calls Steffy and Ridge to the hospital to be by Thomas’ side.
Our Performers of the Week are:
General Hospital’s Genie Francis!
I can say without a doubt that Genie Francis is one of the most talented actresses in daytime! Her ability to portray emotion with such rawness is beautiful. This week Laura was forced to accept that Lulu was not going to get better at General Hospital and that she would have to go to a long-term care facility. Her goodbye to the daughter that would always have her heart had us wiping tears away. Being the ultimate mama bear, she then gave Cyrus Renault one hell of a slap when he had the gall to offer his condolences.
The Bold and the Beautiful’s Matthew Atkinson!
I said it when we gave Matthew our November Star of the Month but if this man does not win an Emmy I will riot! Lol. Atkinson's performance of Thomas’ manic episode is captivating and engaging. You have no idea what is going to happen but you sure can’t wait to find out. While it is unsure at the moment if his behavior is mental illness or a brain injury, we can see the anguish that Thomas has had throughout the ordeal. All we can say is that he is one of the most talented additions to the soap world in recent years. And shout out to his screen partner Annika Noelle for her work in this week’s scenes as well! She did a great job at playing Hope’s confusion and need to help.
