Our Performer of the Week is General Hospital’s Lisa LoCicero!
This week the truth finally came out as Olivia learned that Ned had slept with Alexis. Her reactions to Ned and Alexis were incredible, real, and damn entertaining! She, of course, felt sadness in the betrayal, but that Brooklyn girl brought her anger to the party as well. It was satisfying seeing her call out Alexis for only feeling sorry that she got caught.
While Lisa has always been fantastic, there has been something so wonderful about her performance over the last few months. She has truly become a well-deserved standout. All the awards, mama! All the awards!
Our Honorable Mention goes to The Young and the Restless’ Melissa Ordway!
This week Abby discovered that her dream of becoming a mother wasn’t going to go as she hoped when she learned that her previous miscarriage had caused too much scarring to allow her to carry a baby. While there are still many ways that she could become a mother, she understandably needed to grieve her dream and come to terms with the news. Melissa Ordway did a beautiful job at playing Abby’s heartbreak and disappointment. Fertility issues are something that many women in the world face. So, it is nice to see YR showcasing a storyline that many people can relate to.
