The stress of the kidnapping was getting to Julie and she was taken to the hospital for observation. Philip made Sarah and Maggie promise to keep Victor in the dark about his mob problem but it would be all for nothing as things escalated when Brady was shot leaving Chloe’s room. Kristen, who was on the phone with Brady when the incident occurred, used Tony and a guard’s gun to escape prison to be by his side. Our Performer of the Week is Days of Our Lives’ Lindsay Arnold!
This week Allie enlisted the help of Marlena to go under hypnosis in the hopes of remembering what happened the night of her assault. She was able to recall that Charlie had been her attacker all along. In the scenes, Arnold delivered a heartbreaking performance of a woman who is finally breaking past her trauma.
While the storyline has been imperfect on many levels, there is no denying that Lindsay Arnold has played the heck out of it. She has brought depth, raw emotion, and grace to a very difficult story. She is a star. Days is very lucky to have her and I hope that she is given the chance to develop her character more. AND to have a happy, fun storyline next!
