Days of Our Lives
Charlie’s resolve starts to crumble as he realizes that Claire doesn’t believe his lie about having consensual sex with Allie. Allie talked with Marlena about how she is having trouble sleeping after remembering what happened to her. Lucas apologized to Tripp. Nicole was able to convince Rafe to take Ava in for safety. Rhodes took on new marching orders from Orpheus after receiving a deal he couldn’t pass up. Ben answered Ciara’s call but a bad signal only allowed him to hear her briefly before Rhodes took the phone away. He then teamed up with Shawn to try and track down Vincent’s last scheduled visitor, Rhodes. Brady was released from the hospital and found himself staying at Marlena and John’s alongside Susan. After Susan saw the connection between Brady and Chloe, she finally agreed to swap places with Kristen.

Gabi was surprised to see that her deal with Xander was now null and void after Philip became sole CEO. She worked to convince him that he should work with her and was met with “help” from Kate. Philip questioned Kate’s agreement, thinking that the only reason she wanted him to work with her was to keep Gabi away from Jake. The Horton’s gathered for Laura’s funeral service before Jennifer left town to handle her mother’s belongings. Gwen tried to get Jake to believe that Laura’s death was truly an accident but he accused her of being upset that she will finally have to pay for her crimes. Shawn took Abby and Gwen into the station to try and work things out after they got into an altercation at Laura’s graveside. The incident only fueled Abby’s intentions of taking down her newfound half-sister. She then goes to Gabi for help in getting revenge on Gwen. Clyde became suspicious of Orpheus as they talked about Ben’s belief that Ciara was alive. Ciara was shocked when Evan showed up and killed Rhodes. He then shared that he and his father were the ones in charge now, wanting revenge on her for sending him to prison.

Sonny was met with hostility by the local cops when businesses in the area were broken into. Phyllis and Lenny stood up for him but when their bar was ransacked while Sonny was taking a drunk customer home they wondered if this was the best place for him to stay. Sonny told them that he believes they are being targeted for some unknown reason. Alexis continued to fight for her sobriety after taking another drink. This time she was open and honest about the slip with her daughters, which is a positive first step to recovery. Nina was able to get confirmation from Phyllis that Frank was the man she delivered her daughter to all those years ago. Phyllis also told Nina not to give up on Jax but that plan went out the window when Nina overheard him and Carly talking about what happened on the cliff the night Nelle died. After she caused a scene with Jax and Carly at the memorial service for Sonny, Nina went to Jordan with her accusation against Carly.
Laura reluctantly spent time with Cyrus to stop him from attending Sonny’s memorial service. He tried once again to get her to see that if she hadn’t had her support system that they could have ended up in the same boat. Sonny had a dream of Carly. Britt was forced to go along with Cyrus’ lies about his new pharmaceutical when he called a board meeting hoping to fast track the drug with the FDA. She brought her findings to Jason, revealing that Cyrus and another doctor were lying about the test results. Though, she was shocked to discover that all of her research had been deleted from her computer. Curtis was frustrated when Jordan said they couldn’t speak freely to a counselor about their problems and told her that they needed to separate. Nina asked for Valentin’s help with making Carly pay for Nelle’s death. Franco and Liz’s Valentine’s Day didn’t go as planned as he began suffering side effects from his radiation treatment. Things were a little awkward as Michael, Sasha, Chase, and Willow met up for their dates. Joss and Trina tried to help Cam with his college decision after finding his acceptance letter to Stanford. While at the hospital for “further evaluation” thanks to Britt, Brad overheard Lucas agree to go out for a drink with Felix. Curtis found himself having fun on his stakeout mission when he invited Portia to come along. Molly and TJ’s plans to have their commitment ceremony on Valentine’s Day were put in jeopardy as he got stuck at work. Our Performer of the Week is The Young and the Restless’ Jordi Vilasuso!
I have adored Jordi and his talent since he played Tony Santos on Guiding Light. So, it was a treat getting to see him shine this week on YR. Rey finally had enough of Adam’s presence in his marriage and confronted Sharon. His performance was full of emotion as Rey questioned why Sharon is always putting Adam’s needs above everyone else despite his horrible behavior. Rey finally delivered an ultimatum...no more Adam. Jordi is such a beautiful performer and we felt every bit of his frustration and his fear of losing Sharon.
