O'Brien began her journey in the genre on May 11, 2006, when she made her debut in the recurring role of Jana Hawkes on The Young and the Restless. She was originally with the show for a short period until September 2006. And then, O'Brien was added to the contract cast as of October 2006 to February 2007 when the character disappeared from the canvas temporarily. She returned in June 2007 until 2011 when she was let go from the cast last appearing on May 6, 2011. During her tenure she was nominated for the Daytime Emmy Awards in the category of Outstanding Younger Actress in 2008, 2009 and 2011.
She returned to soaps in 2020 when she began playing the role of Gwendolyn "Gwen" Rizczech, the daughter of Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Tiffany on Days of Our Lives. Please help us wish her a happy 15th anniversary.
