Days of Our Lives:

Gwen was rushed to the hospital. Gwen blamed Abby for her fall and said Abby pushed her. Abby said oh no I didn’t she just fell. Abby begged Jack to believe her. He couldn’t. Chad believed Abby didn’t push Gwen but Chad berated Abby for being at the top of the stairs fighting with a pregnant woman which in reality would be a fair point if Gwen was still pregnant which she wasn’t. And Gwen got the doctor to keep her secret that she had already miscarried. A homeless Chanel asked Lani if she could move in with Elani. That is such not a good idea. Anyway, Lani told her she could maybe be her nanny but Lani had to run it all by Eli first. Then Chanel ran into Allie who were besties when they lived in London. The two were day drinking, reminiscing about free times, and shared a girl kiss witnessed by Tripp (who was “tripped” out.) Allie told Chanel she was heterosexual. Chanel said no worries I don’t label myself; I just like people. It is all good.   

  

Shawn and Belle are starting to put the clues together about Jan. They found footage of a very awake Jan in mid-Feb a couple of weeks before Charlie was murdered. Belle was ready to hand over the footage to the police but Shawn said it wasn’t enough to prove Jan killed Charlie. They needed more. Jan is still all kinds of crazy telling Bonnie and Claire that she will be “Jan Brady” book it. What a return! Stan aka Sami made a return appearance to Salem. This time he was Dr. Dunn who appeared to assist in keeping up with the Lucas is dying charade so Chloe would be too busy tending to a not so dying Lucas that she wouldn’t have time to try and get her hooks more into Brady. If you don’t know who Stan is...Google is your friend! Sami did too much this time (nothing new there lol) and her own words busted her and Chloe figured out Dr. Dunn was Stan who was Sami. “Kate” had to put in work to convince Jake that Kate didn’t want to be in a relationship with him for no other reason than she didn’t want to be in a relationship with him. So go find Gabi and leave her alone. Kristen drugged her latest victim and smuggled Kate out of Salem in her big bag. It took Susan to literally sign her own name to Rachel’s birthday card before Brady had an epiphany. But finally, all the masks are about to be “out of the bag"....we think.... The week ended with Kristen and Kate in one car Brady in the other and a car crash? 

General Hospital:

Jason and Britt escaped although barely to the safe house. Jason's escape from General Hospital went awry when he ran back in to save Britt from Cyrus’ guys who were after her. A shootout between Brick and one of Cyrus’s men ensued in the parking deck. It was thought that Cameron had shot Jason during the chaos when Jordan busted in to see a dazed Cam holding a gun. She talked Cameron down into lowering his gun and brought him to the police station. Thankfully it was determined that Jason wasn’t shot from the gun that Cam was holding. At the safe house, Britt worked to keep Jason from bleeding out but he needed an emergency transfusion. Spinelli came through and brought several units of blood, Britt was able to administer an antibiotic and Jason lived. Sam promised Dante that she wouldn’t go rogue and try to find Jason and Dante promised he would tell her everything he found out as their investigation progressed. Dante had Sam followed because he knows Sam LOL and knows her loyalties lie with trying to keep Jason safe.  When Sam and Dante made it to the safe house it was too late Jason and Britt were already gone. Dante took Sam to the police station for questioning because he said he can’t trust her. Sam and Dante realize with Dante being back on the force (even if temporarily) put them on different sides. 

 

Fin finally told Liz about Chase being poisoned and Peter being Franco’s murderer. Cameron overheard Liz and Scotty talking about it. He was upset because he realized him thinking Jason had killed Franco had caused problems between him and Joss. He went to apologize to Joss. Peter is still Peter and now we will see what his latest scheme will be; this one involving Nurse Chloe Jennings. Jason, Dante, Jax everybody was trying to tell Carly she is in over her head. Carly ain’t listening to none of them. Carly crashed the five-mob family party and announced she was taking her rightful place at the head of the Corinthos organization. The five families obliged after she proved she was up to the job by besting Cyrus. Later on, Carly told ghost Sonny all was well. She had everything well in hand. She was ready to be head of the family in every way. 

The Bold and the Beautiful:

Hope and Liam are enjoying being back together. But Liam is far from being okay. He had a panic attack while watching a tribute to Vinny. Hope chalked up Liam’s behavior to him blaming himself for his night with Steffy. Chief Baker came to talk with Thomas about Vinny’s hit and run, which upset Thomas and Ridge because instead of Chief talking to them, he should have been out there looking for the true culprit. Bill was upset because Liam is still coming apart at the seams and can’t seem to shake what happened with Vinny. Wyatt is starting to put two and two together that something is going on that he isn’t aware of. 

 

Quinn and Carter’s happiness is short-lived when they realize what they did. But that didn’t stop them from “doing it” again, again, and again before vowing it will never happen again. Quinn returned to Forrester’s Creation to an expectant Zoe who wanted an update on the success of their “Getting Carter to Forgive Zoe” Mission. Quinn told Zoe she wasn’t sure how successful she was but she assured Zoe that she gave it “her all!” Again, Zoe asked Carter to forgive her so they could work toward getting back to where they used to be. The only thing Carter was thinking about when Zoe was talking to him was him “working’ Quinn. Quinn confided in her bestie Shauna that she had a mind-blowing beautiful experience with the honorary Forrester, aka, Carter. At the same time Eric was confiding in Ridge and Brooke that he has not been able to get past Quinn’s involvement in Shauna and Ridge’s shotgun Vegas wedding (although he has forgiven everybody else) and he just hasn’t been able to “connect” with his wife. Eric returned home to hear the tail end of Quinn’s confession and Shauna had to talk fast to make sure Eric didn’t have a clue that Quinn had stepped out on their marriage. And then Quinn high tails it out there to tell Carter that their secret of two was now a secret of three. The week ended where it started...with “Quarter” locking lips....again. 

The Young and the Restless:

Most of Genoa City’s happenings surrounded the Newmans but there were a few other things to share. Nina is worried that Abby is being a tad bit too hovering in relation to Mariah. Chance’s absence is starting to weigh on Abby. Mariah accepted Kyle’s invitation to be his best person at “Skyle’s” wedding.” Amanda met with Michael to discuss her joining the legal defense team to defend the case of her grandfather, Sutton Ames, who is being charged with murdering Amanda’s father, Richard Nealon, and to offer a plea deal. Amanda told Michael if he was offering a plea deal, he must not be that confident in his case. However, Amanda was very confident in hers, so no deal. She told Michael she would see him in court. Michael and Victor are very curious as to how Amanda became involved in the case. Victor even tried to pump Devon for information regarding the connection between Amanda and Sutton but Devon wouldn’t give Victor any information. Amanda, girl you better watch your back. You are officially on Victor’s radar. Be careful! 

 

It was confirmed that Faith wouldn’t recover from her infection and would need a living kidney donor or dialysis for the rest of her life. Adam is the only person in the Newman family who is a possible match. Faith wishes anyone but Adam was the person who could save her life. Adam didn’t believe Nick that Faith was sick and that Adam might be the only person who could help. He thought Nick was trying to trick him out of hiding so he could be arrested. There was a tornado, Nick and Adam were trapped, there was a ceiling collapse and lots of going back and forth between the two brothers. Nick saved Adam from the ceiling collapse and Adam in turn helped Nick when he was trapped. In the end, the two of them were able to come to a truce, Adam would come to Genoa City to get tested to see if he was a viable donor, and Nick would help him not get arrested and to escape when it was all over. Rey who has been on the outside looking in with what is going on with Faith wasn’t happy when Sharon fessed up that Adam was the potential donor and that Nick was going to find him but Rey did admit to Sharon that he too is now having doubts about Adam's guilt and Chelsea plus Chloe might just be the culprits who poisoned him after all. Victor has zero doubt it was Chelsea. And he rolled up on Chels and told her, listen, you admit to what you did or I’m going to get custody of Connor. It shouldn’t be hard; his father is on the run and his momma is a con artist. Chels you be careful too! Nick made Rey promise he wouldn’t do anything to have Adam arrested before it was certain he wasn’t a donor or after he had given Faith his kidney. The week ended with Rey, Adam, and Nick all face to face. Next week should be interesting! 

Performer of the Week: General Hospital's Genie Francis

Guess who's coming to dinner? Laura, Kevin, Nikolas, and Ava all broke bread with Cyrus in an effort to keep him distracted while Jason escaped from the hospital. But what do they say about best-laid plans? Laura’s justified fury at her half-brother just couldn’t stay doormat long enough for her to carry out her faux attempts of welcoming Cyrus into the family. It didn’t take long for the cracks in Laura’s façade to start creeping out. But when Cyrus said he had been keeping tabs on Spencer... Laura “went in.” She told her brother that his mobster bravado boiled down to him knowing deep down inside that he will always be “pitiful and alone!” However, Cyrus did make Laura briefly pause when he pointed out how she needed to think about how much she enjoyed attacking him. After Cyrus left Laura apologized to Ava that she let her anger take control and thwart their plan. But Ava was like Laura this is me you are talking to, I loved it.  What can you say that we haven’t been saying for decades?? Genie Francis is Queen! 

Honorary Mention: Days of Our Lives' Precious Way

So, what do you do after your rich momma tells you it’s time to fend for yourself and your plan to extort money from that same momma goes up in flames? We couldn’t wait to see. Chanel went to cousin Lani and asked if she could put her up because she was basically homeless. A rightfully so, less than enthusiastic, Lani gave her a few side-eyes before coming up with the idea that maybe she could be her nanny. Lani um, not too sure about that one. LOL. Anyway, Chanel runs into Allie her partying bestie from London. Those two kick it back with some drinks, good laughs about old times, and then plants one on Allie. And when her interest wasn’t exactly reciprocated Chanel took it all in stride. We can’t say enough about the fresh air Chanel and Precious have brought to Salem. She gives us party girl with brains and a whole lot of life! Precious is talented, so much fun and we can’t wait to see what she and Chanel do next!
