Steamy new pairings. Lovers reunited. And dream duos. We had our readers nominate and vote for the couples they wanted to see more of in the last half of 2021! To be eligible, both sides of the couple have to currently be on screen. Check out the 15 pairings who made the cute below:


Young Love


Love… and uncertainty are in the air for these budding romances. The potential pairing of Days of Our Lives’ Chanel Dupree & Allie Horton certainly has viewers talking. Since the exit of the beloved and groundbreaking Will & Sonny, Salem - and the other soap towns - have been lacking in their representation of LGBTQ+ couples. So we are EXCITED! These besties have already admitted that they have feelings for each other. Now, we are just waiting to see who Allie chooses: Chanel or Tripp? 


Under usual circumstances, we wouldn’t recommend starting a relationship of any kind under false pretenses. But this is a soap after all! And General Hospital’s Spencer Cassadine & Trina Robinson are just so cute! Spencer, who is parading around town as Victor as he hides the fact that he is Ava’s stalker, was thrown for a loop when he had a run-in with Trina. Instant sparks! Fans have been asking for Trina to get a love interest of her own and it seems like our prayers have been answered! Let’s just hope that she’ll be able to forgive him when the truth of his dirty deeds is revealed.


Second Chances



Many of our readers were anticipating the potential reunions of some of their favorite exes. General Hospital fans do love their JaSam… but it was the impressive amount of pure nostalgia for Jason Morgan & Elizabeth Webber that landed them on our list. There seems to be an opening for their reunion but with all the drama surrounding Jason and the women in his life, we would be surprised to see these two reunite any time soon. Love them or hate them. There is no denying that Sharon Newman & Adam Newman have heaps of chemistry… and history. Rey is a good man, still, we can’t help but feel like that in the long run it won’t be enough to keep Sharon and Adam apart. Another The Young and the Restless pair that fans are anxious to see back together are Devon Hamilton & Elena Dawson! A GORGEOUS couple, who desperately needs an exciting storyline. Their breakup was devastating and left us wanting more for them.


Days of Our Lives’ Lucas Horton & Sami Brady have been heating up the screen with their affair… and crazy schemes to keep it hidden. While Brady Black & Chloe Lane seem to be getting their long-awaited second crack at romance. Broe’s love triangle with Philip Kiriakis is bringing us back to the good ol’ days of the 00s. The powerhouse coupling of Ben Weston & Ciara Brady is the one on a lot of minds. Ben, unwavering in his fight to help Ciara recollect her memories, has not given up hope that he would reunite with his love. Ciara, however, is still pushing back at every chance. Even going as far as to set a wedding date with her best friend since childhood and good guy, Theo. Will the memories of the past bring these duos back together?  


Hot New Pairings




We have one word for you: Quarter! Quinn Forrester & Carter Walton are the hottest… and most interesting thing to happen on The Bold and the Beautiful in a long time. This unlikely pairing sought out comfort from each other while going through relationship woes. Is it love or lust? We don’t know but we are down for the ride. General Hospital has certainly been bringing the heat with its newest couples. Sam McCall & Dante Falconeri’s giddy, teenaged approach to their attraction just makes us smile. Now if they could just stop fighting it! On the other side of things, Jason Morgan & Britt Westbourne fully embraced their connection just to be ripped apart by unfortunate circumstances. Will the soon-to-be-married Jason be able to stay away from Britt? We hope not!


Friends To Lovers


We know the Cin army is praying hard for the reunion of their couple but Ben Weston & Claire Brady seem to have a growing fanbase as well! Ben and Claire certainly have connected over their similar histories with mental illness and violence. However, it was their shared grief that really drew these two towards each other. They have formed a wonderful friendship and we would totally support them taking that next step. GH’s Harrison Chase & Brook Lynn Quartermaine are one of our personal favorites! These two have a beautiful bond that started out with Chase arresting Brook Lynn. The wild Brook Lynn seems to be grounded when around Chase. And let’s be honest… Chase deserves so much better than Willow! 


The potential coupling of Valentin Cassadine & Anna Devane has ALWAYS been hot. We honestly don’t know what took the show so long to pursue them together. Liam who?! Thomas Forrester & Hope Logan were a standout duo for The Bold and the Beautiful in the voting. While Thomas’ past obsession with Hope does leave us with a bit of trepidation, people can change! Thomas does care deeply for Hope. They are incredible co-parents to little Douglas. And if we haven’t said it before... Hope deserves much, much better than Liam.
