Performers of the Week:
Days of Our Lives’ Greg Vaughan & Arianne Zucker
This duo is just magic! There are few onscreen couples that have as much beautiful chemistry as Greg and Ari. There are also very few actors that bring as much emotion and depth to their performances as they do. We knew it was coming, but to see this fan-favorite couple’s marriage come to an end left us devastated. Especially since the audience was cheated out of seeing their relationship over the last year. But this is a soap after all. There is always hope for these two in the future!
General Hospital’s Vernee Watson
In our humble opinion, Emmy-winner Vernee Watson is one of the best actresses on television. She brings such authenticity to her work. She truly makes you feel every bit of emotion that Stella does. This week, Stella got the long-awaited opportunity to confront Shawn, the man who caused her nephew’s death. In a raw and heartbreaking set of scenes, Stella was able to release the pain and anger that she had been holding onto for years.
General Hospital
“Mike” called Nina about Lenny’s cancer diagnosis and she offered to help pay for his treatment. After tracking down the pilot hired by Peter, Anna discovered that the nurse who kidnapped Maxie was the pilot's sister. She also was stunned when she found out that Peter was never picked up on the roof because a man, who she believed was Finn, was on the roof with him. Joss was happily surprised when Trina expressed her excitement about her relationship with Cam. Trina got surprised when she was introduced to Spencer. Alexis learned that while she isn’t being released, she would be transferred to Springridge, a prison for non-violent offenders right outside of Port Charles. While there she ran into Ryan Chamberlain. Shawn’s sentence was commuted to time served and he was released. His release put Nikolas on edge as Shawn, with the help of Sam, vowed to find out who really shot Hayden. Chase’s lack of progress in his recovery left him frustrated and lashing out against Willow.
Stella unloaded her pent-up anger about Thomas’ death towards Shawn. Portia received some much-needed encouragement from Terry about her potential romance with Curtis. While Curtis was moving forward with Portia, Stella was encouraging Jordan to fight for her marriage. Spencer and Trina both had failed attempts at matchmaking for Nikolas. Brando made the decision to forgo the Corinthos family business in favor of a life with Sasha and their child. Monica called Terry and Britt into her office, having made her decision for Chief of Staff. Knowing she and Finn needed a way out of their Peter situation, Liz suggested they ask Jason for help. Finn wasn’t sold on the idea. However, it may not be up to him anymore after Jason overheard part of their conversation.
Days of Our Lives
Xander crashed Eric and Nicole’s anniversary party with the news of their one-night stand. Nicole was forced to tell Eric the truth, which led to the heartbreaking end of their marriage. While everyone was suspicious of Sami’s involvement in Xander’s antics, Brady confronted Xander wanting to know why he chose now to blow up Nicole’s life. Lucas decided to give up on his revenge on EJ, but Philip wasn’t about to let him and gave the letter to Nicole. She gladly delivered the blow to EJ. Paulina attempted to make amends by shutting down Price Town and opening up the small businesses as originally planned. Lucas promised to keep Sami’s secret only because he loves her so much. However, EJ was on his way home to confront her. Ciara’s wedding day didn’t start off well after she came to blows with Claire and Hope couldn’t make it. With the help of Claire and Allie, Ben kidnapped Ciara from the wedding.

Unable to stay away from each other, Quinn and Carter decided to make the most of their time together. When they almost got busted on a surprise video call from Eric, Quinn told Carter that she couldn’t let him risk his career for her. The Young and the Restless
Victor met with Sutton, offering a way to “help” him get out of Amanda’s crosshairs. Sutton was put on alert when Victor mentioned receiving a letter from Amanda’s father detailing how Sutton had threatened him. When Victor called him out on betraying his family, Sutton admitted the truth about being angry with Richard. Luckily, Amanda and Imani were there recording the conversation. They brought the information to Michael with the hopes he would seek out charges against him.
