Performers of the Week: The Young and the Restless’ Michael Mealor & Hunter King!

We are sure going to miss this powerhouse duo! This week Michael and Hunter proved why they are two of the most beloved actors in daytime. Hunter’s emotion-filled performance opposite her onscreen parents as Summer shared the true story behind her sudden departure was poignant and moving. While Michael delivered a powerful performance of his own as Kyle confronted Tara over her part in his breakup. Knowing that the blow-up could lead to disastrous results for his relationship with his son, the scenes brimmed with a compelling mixture of anger and fear. From the highest of highs to the lowest of lows, #Skyle has battled through it all to find happiness. In the end, fans of this couple were delighted to see them reunite. 

The Bold and the Beautiful

Quinn and Carter continued to grow closer. As a gesture for a fresh start, Steffy asked Hope to be part of her wedding. With the Forrester matriarch’s photo back above the mantle, Steffy and Finn’s loved ones gathered to celebrate the couple as they prepared to wed. The ceremony was a beautiful, heartfelt one. However, the day ended with a big surprise for Finn as his biological mother, SHEILA CARTER, showed up. 

The Young and the Restless 

Sally and Tara attempted to recover their reputations with the Abbotts after Phyllis’ latest move. While Phyllis set her sights on Los Angeles to gather more evidence against them with the help of Eric Forrester. Jack warned Kyle that Tara’s sights might be set on him, which was the motive to send Summer packing. Tara was arrested for fraud after Phyllis discovered that she was stealing money from her own company. With the truth out, Kyle rushed to reunite with Summer in Italy. 

Adam wanted Victor to jeopardize the merger between Newman and Locke Communications before they could become a threat. However, Victor told him he doesn’t want to ruin any of VIctoria’s accomplishments. Instead, he waged that they go after Billy. Ashland admitted to Victoria that he had fallen in love with her and proposed. Tessa brought her concerns about Mariah’s safety to Sharon and Rey with Nina by her side. Naya still was not on board with Amanda and Imani’s plan to take down Sutton’s reputation. But her admittance of his guilt could lead to a fresh start for Naya and Amanda. Rey got a surprising job offer from Victor, who asked him to be the head of his security firm. 

General Hospital

Jordan put the brakes on her friendship with Portia, revealing that she knew about her relationship with Curtis. Trina received some sense of relief when Curtis told her that his marriage was over before he started dating her mother. Though, she was stunned when she heard Stella confronting Portia about her previous affair. She found comfort and advice in Spencer. At the same time, Jordan told Curtis that she wanted to try again. However, he no longer wanted the life they had together. Brook Lynn did her best to hide her feelings when Valentin opened up about how being a father has changed him. Willow was left shaken by her mother’s presence at Wiley’s birthday party. Michael rushed to be by her side, providing comfort.  While attempting to surprise Willow with his progress, Chase got a shock of his own when he and Austin discovered her with Michael. Nina narrowly avoided disaster while on a video call with Wiley when “Mike” walked in. Phyllis shared with Nina that she ran into Valentin at the hospital and that he was still worried about her. Brook Lynn was concerned by Nina’s odd behavior on the phone and asked Valentin if he would check on her in Nixon Falls. 

Stella’s family gathered around her as she recovered from another stroke. Joss was worried that Trina would be hurt if she entered into a relationship with Spencer. Laura got the opportunity to catch up with Spencer, who was acting strangely impersonal towards Kevin. Monica gave Carly and Jason her blessing. Terry and Britt fought through their issues to take on their roles as co-Chief of Staff. Brook Lynn was not happy to learn that Gladys was her new assistant. Joey Novak introduced himself to Joss, which sent her family and Cam on the defense. Laura delivered the sad news to Dante that Lulu’s doctors didn’t think that she would recover at this point, hoping now that they could move on with their lives. Ava asked Shawn to be her bodyguard. Hayden’s mother, Naomi, made a surprise visit to Port Charles to see Violet. Liesl confronted Jason about hurting Britta. Alexis got another surprise when she found out Harmony is working at the rehabilitation center. She wondered if Ryan was involved in Ava’s recent stalking when she discovered how Harmony was helping him transcribe letters. Harmony let Nikolas and Alexis read through the letters that Ryan had sent, which included one to Spencer.
