The promo for the week starts off with Curtis telling Marshall “There’s no going back”.  Curtis has lived practically his whole life thinking his father was dead until Marshall came to Port Charles not too long ago.  With Marshall making his presence known, this will change the trajectory of their lives and their potential relationship. 

The next part of the promo shows Sonny asking Anna, “What’s going on?”.  Anna is most likely there to tell Sonny about Jason and Peter; news that won’t be easy to break.  Sonny and Jason have been friends for years and Anna thought Peter was her son.  Peter is responsible for Jason’s presumed death; fans can expect Sonny will be upset [and that’s an understatement!].  A small glimpse of this is shown in the promo, when Sonny slams something on the kitchen island table [it’s not tossing barware across a table, but it’ll do].

In the next clip, Drew tells Sam & Dante that there is something they both need to know and Sam asks, “What is it?”.  Sounds like he will be the one to break the news to Sam that Jason is presumed dead.  Even though Sam and Jason broke up, they had a deep and passionate romance for many years and share a son together [Danny].  Sam was devastated when she thought Drew died so fans can be sure to witness Sam have a whirlwind of emotions in having Drew, her daughter’s father return from the “dead” just to find out she lost her son’s father.  Where will Dante fit into all of this?

In the next clip, Carly is with Britt and says, “It’s finally finished and everyone’s safe, huh?  Everyone is safe, right Britt?!”.   Looks like Britt will be the one to tell Carly about Jason and fans can assume Carly will lose it and will most likely take it out on Britt.  Carly and Jason have been friends for many years and she admitted not too long ago that she was starting to fall in love with Jason again when they were going to make their marriage a real marriage.  Carly is aware that Jason also had feelings for Britt and it will be much easier for Carly to blame Britt for what happened to Jason [even though Jason has risked his own life for Carly and Sonny many times over the years].  With Carly being devastated by losing Jason, where will this leave her and Sonny?

The narrator during the promo says, “This week: No one is ready for the shocking truth”.  Anyone who knows Jason will definitely be shocked to hear about Jason’s presumed death.  Jason has defeated the odds and escaped death so many times before, but his luck and nine lives have seem to run out.  The people of Port Charles will feel his loss and deal with their grief in assumingly many different ways.  It will be interesting to see how it effects people’s relationships.
