Stacy Haiduk always brings the perfect blend of humor and heartwarming to her scenes as Susan Banks. In this past week's shows, Susan tried to save John Black from the Devil. The Devil revealed their plan to have Susan kill John and if she didn’t, they would go after her son, EJ DiMera. Haiduk captured Susan’s fear perfectly; the franticness in a tone of voice and how troubled she looked in her facial expressions. Susan did not want to hurt John, but she especially didn’t want the Devil to go after her son. John tried to convince Susan that the Devil wouldn’t go after EJ, but Susan didn’t want to take any chances. When Steve Johnson finds Susan, she is covered in blood. Stacy Haiduk yet again perfectly showcased just how scared and desperate Susan was to save her son as Susan tried to sacrifice herself in order to spare EJ and John. In the hospital, EJ sees his mother and they have a beautiful moment. Through her pain and fear, Susan is relieved to know her son is okay and EJ is moved at just how much Susan loves him. Susan told EJ that she loves him so much, she’d do anything for him, even vote for a democrat. Stacy Haiduk brilliantly played Susan’s humorous side in this line without taking away from the deep, emotional depth of the scene. Fans laughed and cried during Stacy Haiduk’s performance this past week and look forward to what happens next!
Days Of Our Lives
Paulina was hurt that Lani invited her mother over for Thanksgiving, but not her. However, she is happy to have started to mend her relationship with Chanel. Chanel told Paulina that Marlena is the one who told her that Paulina is Lani’s mother and felt as if Marlena wanted her to share it at the wedding. Paulina goes to confront Marlena and tells her that she plans on reporting her for breaking doctor/patient confidentiality. MarDevil gets angry and Paulina sees her eyes change and hears the tone of her voice change; it scares her and so she leaves.
Chanel feels terrible for ruining the wedding but is also hurt by her mother’s secrets. Johnny offers to take her to Italy for a bit to take a break from everything.
Belle was able to help Julie see Doug and Julie brings him home for Thanksgiving. Doug lets the room full of people know that Marlena is possessed by the Devil again. Some are reluctant to believe him at first, but they believe it when they start piecing things together: her not letting Julie see Doug, dressing up as the Devil for Halloween, being cruel to the cat, lying about John’s whereabouts, etc. Shawn planned on bringing the Devil into the station, but the Devil is able to break free out of the handcuffs and throws Shawn across the table.
Steve found John and Susan in the DiMera crypt. John confirms that Marlena is possessed by the Devil.
General Hospital
Jax runs into Carly and tells her that he is leaving town on a business trip and is not sure when he’d be back.
On Cassidine Island, Peter is finally captured by Robert and Anna. Peter convinces one of the guards to let him use a cell phone to call Maxie. He lets her know he plans on coming back home to be with her and their daughter again.
Anna and Robert break the news to Britt, Drew, and Liesel that there doesn’t seem to be any sign of life where they last saw Jason.
At Charlie’s, Nina confides in Sonny that even though Sasha is not her daughter, she still feels emotionally connected to her and she is worried about her and the baby. Sonny tries to keep her calm. Sonny asked her that if she was hurt by Sasha and Valentin lying to her about Sasha being her daughter, how was she able to lie to him and his family about who he really was. Nina shared that “Mike” was the kindest man she ever met and their love was the closest thing to love she ever felt, so she wasn’t ready to give that up.
At the hospital, Sasha gave birth to a baby boy, but there were complications for her and the baby. Sasha comes out of her operation, okay, but they are waiting to see what is happening with the baby. Sasha tells Brando that she feels like she already failed as a mother and Brando reassures her that is not the case, she has done everything she could. He sees the baby and tells him that they both love him.
Nina wants to see Sasha, but because she is not family she was originally denied access to see her. Elizabeth pulls some strings for Nina to see Sasha. Sonny notices and when Gladys and Carly were going to see Sasha, Sonny distracts them so Nina can have a moment with Sasha uninterrupted.
Olivia apologized to Austin at the hospital. Curtis fills Portia in about Marshall. Chase pretends to be Bailey’s father and tells BLQ he is up to the task in order to help keep the baby safe from Peter; they loop Maxie in. BLQ warns Chase that he will also have to look out for Valentin possibly going after them. Chase tells Finn he is the baby’s father and BLQ tells Ned.
Sam and Dante on Thanksgiving and share it with Rocco, Danny, and Scout. Drew shows up and Sam answers the door.
The Young and The Restless
Victor and Adam discuss with Ashland the offer Billy made; that he will step away from ChanceComm if they stop going after Lily and the company. Victor and Adam share that they plan on letting him think they are okay with the offer, but then will plan another attack to take over the company altogether. Ashland shares this with Victoria and she comes up with the idea that she should take the company back herself. She and Ashland visit Billy and Lily and let them know of their plan; that they want ChanceComm for themselves, but that they would still want Lily to work there. Billy and Lily are shocked and hurt that Victoria has a part in all of this.
Noah confided in Faith that he was in love with a fellow artist in London, but that when he and his art were doing better than hers, it affected their relationship. He is heartbroken, where everything in London reminded him of her and that is why he wanted to come back home. Faith tells Sharon and Nick that he was heartbroken there, but doesn’t want to share details. Faith notices Noah appears happy around Tessa.
Sally tells Adam that she will back off of him romantically to respect the boundaries he made. She tells Chloe this and Chloe calls her out; that she thinks Sally only told Adam that so that Adam would want to chase her.
Phyllis had a dream that Gloria transported her to different parts of town on Thanksgiving; starting with helping Sharon at Crimson Lights serve meals to those in need. Next was a family dinner with Nick, Victor, and Nikki; where Phyllis and Nick were happily together and his parents accepted them. After that, she is transported to Society where Jack, Ashley, and Tracy are talking about how happy they are that Jack found love again with Gloria. Phyllis gets upset and wants the dream to stop. When she awakes, she realizes that she just might have feelings for Jack. Jack had food delivered to her hotel room and he video calls her so they can share Thanksgiving together.
The Bold and The Beautiful
Thomas lets Paris know he is interested in her and she lets him down, but that she wants to remain friends. Thomas wanted to at least put it out there as he would have regretted not telling her that he is interested in her. Paris compliments him but reiterates that she is in a relationship with Zende and that she will not tell him about Thomas. Thomas decided to move out. Paris later tells Carter, who already had his own suspicions that Thomas was interested in Paris.
Finn was furious with Jack for lying to him and Li all their lives. Jack apologized for everything, but not for having Finn. Li didn’t want to go back to the hotel room with Jack and Finn asked that Jack respect her wishes. Finn fears that since he is the product of Jack’s betrayal that it would affect his new family with Steffy and the kids. When Jack refers to him as his son, Finn tells him to not call him that. Steffy and Finn offered for Li to stay with them, but she declined their offer. Finn assures Li that she will never lose him.
Jack tells Sheila that he told Finn and Li the truth and that they didn’t take it well, as expected. Sheila thinks they can work together to try to get back into Finn’s life, but Jack feels like she is ready for another scheme.
Sheila and Deacon spend Thanksgiving together and are upset they are not spending it with their children. They drink and Deacon fantasized about spending the holiday with Brooke. Sheila has a fantasy of being welcomed by the Forrester’s. Sheila and Deacon tell each other that neither of their fantasies would be realities.
The Forrester’s and Logan’s got together for Thanksgiving and Finn tells everyone that Jack is his biological father. Ridge assured Carter that he was welcome there.
