Congrats to Martha Madison (Belle, DAYS) who was selected as the performer of the week. Learn more here --->>
Martha Madison (Belle) worked double duty this week as she had to play Jan pretending to be Belle who brought the perfect combination of comedy and drama. The Devil woke Jan up from her coma and wanted her to assist in breaking up Shawn and Belle, much to Jan’s delight. It is Christmas Eve, their wedding anniversary, and The Devil has Jan disguised as Belle. Madison portrayed Jan appearing as Belle trying to seduce Shawn. She was able to nail down Jan’s mannerisms; her eccentric side and eagerness to be with Shawn, while also mixing in Belle’s calmer side which couldn’t have been easy to do! However, was quite entertaining. When Jan as Belle gave the Devil a thumbs up as Shawn was loving on her, fans couldn’t help but laugh in delight at Madison’s spot on acting choices. Madison rocked a Mrs. Clause lingerie number while Jan as Belle finally got to be with Shawn. Belle later catches them together and Madison did a phenomenal job as Belle lost it on the both of them; showcasing Belle’s disgust and anger that Shawn fell for Jan’s manipulation. Fans were mad right alongside Belle, who also had to wonder how did Shawn not know it wasn’t really Belle? Madison also perfectly portrayed the overprotective sister earlier in the week when Belle was trying to help Brady’s charges get dropped and when confronting one of the men who helped hold Sami hostage. Madison had various scenes in different situations and knocked all of them out of the park. Fans can’t wait to see what happens next for Belle & Shawn and for what Madison will bring to the table!
