On “Days Of Our Lives” this past week, Chanel Dupree DiMera had her heart broken when her husband, Johnny (while possessed by The Devil) broke up with her at their wedding reception. Raven Bowens (Chanel) did a phenomenal job displaying how shocked and devastated Chanel was when Johnny publicly dumped her. She was first in denial and disbelief followed by sadness and anger. Bowens took fans on Chanel’s emotional journey of heartbreak; after storming out on Johnny, Chanel pleads with Allie to keep her company. Bowens tugged at fans’ heartstrings when Chanel hugs Allie so tightly while she lets her tears flow. Challie (Chanel + Allie) fans were thrilled when Chanel and Allie finally gave into their feelings and slept together. Even though Chanel is deeply hurt by Johnny and has feelings for Allie, she doesn’t want to ruin Allie and Tripp’s relationship and so she tries to convince Allie to keep their one night stand a secret. Chanel stops by the DiMera mansion again to see Johnny and she throws her ring at him. Bowens has fantastic chemistry with both Carson Boatman (Johnny) and Lindsay Arnold (Allie) that it makes it nearly impossible for fans to choose who they want to see Chanel romantically involved with. What fans can agree on is that Bowens shines in every scene she’s in. Fans can’t wait to see what happens next for Chanel and they know that Bowens will deliver as always!
Days Of Our Lives
After Johnny breaks Chanel’s heart at the wedding reception, Paulina verbally goes after Johnny. In an effort to stop her, The Devil as Johnny has a chandelier fall down with the intent of harming her. Lani pushes Paulina out of the way in time. Paulina winds up spraining her ankle and Lani takes her to the hospital to be treated by Tripp. Paulina points out to Lani that Lani called her mom for the first time. After leaving the hospital, Paulina catches Chanel sleeping with Allie, but they don’t notice her. Allie wants to tell Tripp the truth, but doesn’t.
Susan catches on that Johnny is the Devil and she threatens to tell EJ the truth. The Devil has her forget and instead has her tell EJ she is leaving town. EJ is confused as to why his mother is leaving so abruptly and he’s also skeptical as to why Johnny is behaving differently. Johnny tells him it’s because he wants to be more of a DiMera and that he wants to join the family business after all. He convinces EJ that if EJ does go to prison for Sami’s kidnapping, that he should sign over his shares of the company to him.
Chad considers telling the truth; that Lucas is the one who is framing EJ and is most likely Sami’s kidnapper. He feels guilty when Belle tells him that EJ could go to prison for 8-10 years. When he tells Kate, Kate convinces him to leave Lucas out of it otherwise Lucas would go to prison and reminds him that if the roles were reversed, that EJ would probably have no problem seeing Chad go to prison for something he didn’t do. Chad doesn’t want to stoop to that level so he decides that he’ll claim he’s the one who came up with the fabricated evidence, that way it leaves Lucas out of it. He tells Abby his plan. While on the stand, Chad starts to feel like he’s choking [due to The Devil] and needs to take a break. While he’s recuperating, The Devil pretends to be EJ hitting on Abby. He kisses her and Chad walks in on the kiss.
Abe tells John he forgave Paulina, but he doesn’t trust her.
Ben and Ciara debate if they want to know the sex of their baby and decide to give the envelope with the information to Shawn for safe keeping, that way neither of them will be tempted to look at it.
Steve and Kayla pretend to be a priest and a nun as they get closer to finding Kristen, who is hiding out as a nun herself at a convent. Kristen notices them and calls Ava; thinking she tipped them off. Ava says she didn’t, but says she thinks they’re searching for Sarah.
Rafe has false allegations made against him and he tells Shawn that he thinks Ava is behind it.
Nancy is back in town and runs into Chloe and Brady at the pub; she tells Chloe she thinks her husband is cheating on her.
The Bold & The Beautiful
Brooke lies at the AA meeting that she drank alone on New Year’s Eve. Hope tries asking Brooke about her feelings toward Deacon and why things have changed. Ridge is not thrilled to hear them talking about Deacon, but is confused by Brooke’s reaction to talking about Deacon. Steffy and Thomas try to ask Ridge about Brooke, but he doesn’t tell them the truth about everything. Deacon tells Brooke that people, mainly Hope and Ridge, will be suspicious if they continue to evade each other. She is adamant that they stay away from each other. Deacon tells her that he loves her, always has and always will.
Zende arranges for Paris’ mother, Grace to come to LA. Zende tells Carter about the night he almost proposed to Paris. He expresses he was hurt to hear she isn’t ready to settle down, though he tried to not show her that. He tells Carter that Paris made a comment about wanting to keep things open, as if maybe another man has caught her eye and that he has competition. Carter doesn’t tell Zende that he and Paris kissed and that he’s interested in her. However, he does admit to Zende that he knew Zende planned on proposing as Quinn told him about the ring she made. Grace praises Zende to Paris which makes her feelings for Carter more conflicting. Grace meets Carter and is cold toward him since she knows how things went down between Carter and Zoe.
Hope tells Steffy and Taylor to back off Brooke and that Taylor should respect Brooke’s marriage to Ridge. Steffy points out that Ridge also has a family with them, Thomas, and their kids. Hope says she thought they were one big happy family. After Hope leaves, Steffy tells her mother that she should pursue Ridge.
General Hospital
Laura tells Sonny that Luke passed away and Sonny shares with Laura about his marriage issues with Carly. He’s later notified that he needs to refill his medication for his bipolar disorder, but he doesn’t make an appointment with his doctor in order to do so. Carly confronts Nina and she is shocked to hear that Nina and Sonny spent some time together on New Year’s Eve. She’s even further shocked that Nina and Sonny almost slept together in Nixon Falls and that the only reason they didn’t was because Nina stopped Sonny. Nina tells Carly that she won’t turn Sonny away which results in Carly slapping her and giving her a warning to stay away. Sonny tries to make amends with Carly, but still upset she tells him he should move out and that if he doesn’t, she will. Carly tells Sonny they can’t be together until he no longer has feelings for Nina and she makes plans to move out of their home. Willow tells Nina she should give up her rights to Wiley which Nina refuses.
Victor tries to convince Spencer to make amends with Nikolas. Laura tells Victor she doesn’t believe that he has changed. Laura also tries to get Nikolas and Spencer to make amends, but it goes nowhere. Kevin bans Esme from seeing Ryan after an alarming conversation.
Trina tells her mother that sometimes she feels like a third wheel when she is with Joss and Cameron.
Liz and Finn agree to postpone their date until Liz is certain that her sons are okay with her moving on after losing Franco.
TJ warns Marshall that if he continues to be evasive and dishonest with Curtis that it will push Curtis away and possibly for good. Marshall tells Curtis that he had to fake his death, but won’t give him the details.
Austin admits to Britt that he has feelings for Maxie. Meanwhile, Maxie tells Felicia she has come to really like Austin. BLQ tries to make amends with Austin, but he doesn’t forgive her for what she’s done. He considers teaming up with Valentin to take BLQ down. Victor finds out from Austin that the best way to get to BLQ is through Maxie. BLQ tells Chase that Tracy knows the secret about Louise and they consider moving out of the Quartermaine mansion and getting their own place. Anna suggests she along with Felicia, Maxie, and Austin go to the place where Louise was born to see if it will trigger memories for Maxie to help find her daughter.
Brad admits to Britt that he is the one who poisoned Peter. Britt vows to help Brad get away from doing bad deeds for his Ms. Wu.
Sam refuses to play nice with Harmony for Alexis’ sake as she doesn’t trust her after everything that went down with Shiloh and Dawn of Day. Sam later explains to Drew why she gave up his ELQ shares.
The Young & The Restless
Michael debates if he should quit his job as the D.A. After being advised that he should do what makes him happy, he ultimately decides to quit.
Nick’s loved ones throw him a surprise birthday party. Nick shares that he has offered Noah a job at his company. Mariah lets it slip at the party that she and Tessa plan on adopting a baby. Abby is thrilled to hear the news that they plan on adopting. Tessa proposes to Mariah.
Chance starts to have flashbacks of his time in Spain, which worries Abby. Amanda suggests to Devon that he should take legal action in order to increase his visitation rights with Dominic. Abby is crushed and concerned that Devon wants to take legal action. Devon tells Nate and Lily that he wants to fight for joint custody of the baby. Lily fills in Devon about everything that happened with Billy. Devon worries that Billy will hurt the company as opposed to helping it. Ashland tells Nate that the cancer treatment is working.
Victoria finds out she won the bidding war for ChanceComm, but she also has her eyes on Newman Media. Victor tells her that he is not interested in selling the company. Victoria tells him that he shouldn’t put all his faith in Adam where the company is concerned. Victor tells Adam he will be taking on a bigger role in the company.
Sally tries to make amends with Chelsea, but it goes nowhere. Chloe gives Sally a work assignment in NYC. Sally asks Adam if he wants to go with her, but he rejects the idea. Chelsea wants to take advantage of Sally being out of town to get closer to Adam. They go out for drinks, but Adam makes it clear that he has no intentions of getting back together with her.
