The Young and the Restless' Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren) marks an incredible milestone. Read more here--->>
Her journey began the whole of 39 years ago and it doesn't seem as if Tracey E. Bregman is a tad bit tired of playing Lauren Fenmore Baldwin on The Young and the Restless. Bregman stepped on the scenes on January 21, 1983, as Lauren Fenmore. Her initial stay was supposed to last only for a short while but after six months, Bregman was offered a contract to stick around and continue playing the role, the role that would change her life forever. Though her time has been an on and off one and she has also crossed over to 'The Bold and the Beautiful', Bregman has had a rather successful journey.
Her character was first married to Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) but was romantically paired with several of Genoa City's hottest men most significantly; Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), Scott Grainger, Sr. (ex-Peter Barton) and Paul. Her history on both 'B&B' and 'Y&R' revolved mainly around her rivalry with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) sometimes due to a mutual love interest. Lauren has also had a lot of other interesting storylines earning herself a Daytime Emmy Award win as Outstanding Ingenue in a Drama Series in 1987 and four Daytime Emmy Award nominations. Bregman, upon celebrating her 35th-anniversary 4 years ago, looked back at her career and in an interview with Digital Journal highlights, "That is a surreal feeling. I still feel like I was 19, and drove in there for the first time. It blows my mind that it has been this long".
And for fans who may be worried that Bregman will soon give up her job on the CBS daytime drama, you can relax. Bregman loves her job, it's one of the things she highlighted that she loves doing in her interview with Digital Journal. She also dished on her 2018 noting, "We just started. I hope to travel more, and I hope to have a good story-line. We'll see what happens."
Congratulations on 39 years and happy anniversary Tracey! Check out one of her early 'Y&R' scenes below!
