"It's the start of new beginnings; others are thrown into conflict" on General Hospital this week. Click here to learn more--->>
The promo for the week starts off with Sasha and Brando looking out a window during their getaway. Sasha and Brando have been struggling in different ways in dealing with their grief over the loss of their son. Brando wants to experience it with Sasha since she can relate whereas Sasha has been putting distance between them because Brando reminds her of their son and their loss. Sasha agreed to go on a getaway with Brando and she relapsed (took drugs again) in order to get through the trip. Brando is unaware that she is high and while high, she suggested that they should get married. Will they tie the knot? If so, will Sasha regret it later? Can these two find their way back to each other again?
The next part of the promo briefly shows Portia and Curtis checking out their potential new home and they both look excited. This could be it! Will Portia and Curtis buy the new house together and continue moving forward in their relationship? Will Jordan, Taggert, Trina, and/or Stella get in the way of their happiness?
In the next snippet, it briefly shows Esme and Ryan looking at each other. Esme has shown an interest in Ryan and she’s intrigued by him. Kevin thinks she’s too interested and he banned her from seeing him at Spring Ridge. It appears she sees him, even from afar. What is their connection? Some fans have wondered if Ryan is Esme’s biological father. If so, it would definitely explain why she wants to be near him and she’s crazy like him too!
The next part of the promo shows Trina pushing Spencer to the ground at Courtney’s grave site. Spencer got Victor to let him out of Spring Ridge so he could put flowers on his mother’s grave and Trina catches him there. What reason would she have to push him? Does he kiss her and it throws her off? Does someone approach them and she shoves him out of the way so he can’t be seen? Trina rarely loses her cool so something major would have to trigger that type of response from her.
The next snippet of the promo shows Joss and Cameron’s sex tape being shown in their class and Joss yells, “Turn it off!” and Cameron jumps up to do so. Esme had set up a phone during the cabin trip in Joss & Cam’s room to record them having sex. She has been hanging onto the recording and after having another verbal argument with Joss followed by noticing Joss & Trina having their own argument, Esme decided to show the sex tape in their class and she set the burner phone in a phone case that looks just like Trina’s. Joss & Cam are mortified to see their first-time making love displayed to the whole class. Joss will definitely want to lash out at who is responsible for recording it and then showing it. Will she get to the truth behind what happened?
The last part of the promo shows Carly telling Sonny, “It hurts when I see you” at the Metro Court. Carly and Sonny are going through the process of getting divorced. Sonny so desperately wanted his marriage with Carly to work, but he couldn’t shake his feelings for Nina. Carly loves Sonny, but hates what he did by keeping his relationship with Nina a secret and the final straw was finding them in bed together. Sonny and Carly have been through so much over the years and they share children together. It’s no wonder that Carly would be hurt by just seeing Sonny; she’d be reminded of all the happy times they had together followed by being hurt by Sonny’s actions and how their marriage ended. Is this the end of Sonny & Carly or can they find their way back to each other?
The voiceover for the promo says, “It’s the start of new beginnings. This week others are thrown into conflict”. Fans can’t wait to see what happens next for Brando & Sasha, Portia & Curtis, Esme and Ryan, Trina & Spencer, Joss & Cam, and Sonny & Carly. They’ve all faced challenges and are trying to move forward. Soap opera fans know that no couple has happy endings; there will always be challenges and that’s where the soapy drama is! Fans will have to tune in to see what’s to come!
