Philip Moons Talks Y&R, The Reason He Had to Step Away from Acting and More! (EXCLUSIVE!) Check it out here--->>
Philip Moon, a graduate of Hunter College and Yale School of Drama is best known for his run as Keemo Volien Abbott on The Young and the Restless, a role he played from 1994 - 1996. With the character of Keemo currently being mentioned on the show, we saw it as a fitting time to have a chat with the actor about reprising his soapy role. Moon was so ecstatic to talk to us as he told us, “I’m honored and humbled to still be thought of after all these years.” See what he says about that and so much more below!
We first started to talk about his background as sometimes information on the internet can be incorrect. He noted, "When I was in high school there was a program where I could go to community college. I was trying to figure out what courses to take. I saw there was an acting course. I thought this looks interesting and so I took the course not knowing anything about it. The teacher I had was really wonderful a woman named Barbara Finnegan and I took my class with her and at the end of my class, she asked if she could speak with me and she said what do you have planned after high school? I said I haven’t the foggiest idea and she said I think you should move to New York City and you should study acting and you should become a professional actor.“
