On this past week of The Young and the Restless, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) continued to try to come to terms with her husband’s passing. She tried to be strong in front of her family. There was a touching moment when Sharon told Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) that she needed their wedding to happen so that it gives her something happy to focus on and look forward to. Tessa asked Sharon to walk her down the aisle and there was a sweet moment between them. Fans were also wondering when Adam (Mark Grossman) would show up to see Sharon, to express his condolences. He did this week and Case & Grossman brought their A-gam as always. Adam reminded Sharon that she needs to allow herself to grieve and feel her emotions so she doesn’t bottle them up inside and that he would never judge her. Case left fans in tears when she gave an emotional monologue about how Sharon doesn’t understand how a bad guy like Ashland (Robert Newman) could fake cancer and survive while a good man like Rey dies. When Case showed Sharon finally letting it all out and revealing how she really felt about the situation, fans got a better look into her grief and how Sharon perceived the situation. It made you wonder how Sharon would react if and when she ever crosses paths with Ashland. Nate (Sean Dominic) also wondered if Ashland was responsible for the accident and if it was ever proven that he was, Sharon would be even more devastated! Chance (Conner Floyd) did inform Sharon that Rey apparently died of a heart attack, which stunned Sharon and fans alike. Wherever the story goes, fans can always expect Case to deliver!
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood
On this past week of The Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy Forrester remembered Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Hayes with the help of her family and Liam (Scott Clifton). When Steffy remembered, she asked to see her husband and her son. When her family informed her that Finn was shot too, but didn’t survive, Steffy was devastated. Wood was outstanding in her scenes (as always). When she shouted out for her husband and her son in tears, fans couldn't help but cry along with her. The wail in her voice gave fans goosebumps as they could feel Steffy’s pain through Wood’s moving performance. Later on, Steffy talked with Liam alone and confided in him about how she’s upset that Hayes has to grow up without his father. They had a moving conversation where Liam reminded her that she doesn’t have to go through this and her grief alone. Fans could feel the sense of relief Steffy felt that she’ll have Liam by her side due to Wood’s longing looks and her initiating holding onto Liam’s hand. While fans were devastated at the loss of Finn, they know Wood will continue to knock her scenes out of the park.
