Actress and producer Antoinette Robertson is celebrating her birthday!
Robertson who was born on June 26, 1993, and raised in The Bronx, New York, had her first notable acting role in the CW comedy-drama Hart of Dixie (Lynly Hayes) in 2013. The next year she landed the role of “Melissa” in the Oprah Winfrey Network drama, The Have and the Have Nots. She also starred in the Netflix comedy-drama, Dear White People where she portrayed “Colandrea 'Coco' Conners.”
A few of Robertson’s other acting credits include the FX series Atlanta, CBS’s FBI: Most Wanted, and a recurring role in the Canadian drama series, Diggstown. Robertson is set to star in the upcoming film, The Blackening. The story centers on seven black friends who go away together for the weekend only to find themselves trapped in a cabin with a killer who has a vendetta.
Also, Roberston stars in and executive produced the recently released Juneteenth comedy movie Block Party. “Keke McQueen (Robertson), a recent Harvard grad, is eager to ditch her hometown of Grand Rapids, MI, for her dream job in Atlanta. But when her once-super-sharp Grandma Janice (Margaret Avery) starts showing early signs of dementia, she puts her career on the line to save Grandma’s Juneteenth block party, and in the process, Keke falls back in love with her hometown.” The movie was released in theatres on June 8 and is streaming now on BET Plus!
