Two Spanish guys get together for a lovely chat on this week's State of Mind hosted by General Hospital's Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) when he is joined by Jordi Vilasuso (Rey Rosales, The Young and the Restles).
Jordi is Cuban-American, raised in Miami, Florida, and even with a family full of doctors he knew he wanted to be an actor at a young age. He is also known for his roles as Tony Santos on Guiding Light, Griffin Castillo on All My Children and Dario Hernandez on Days of Our Lives.
Maurice and Jordi got into a very deep conversation as they talked about his childhood and his moved to NYC. This got deeper when they started talking about Jordi's relationship with his wife Kaitlin Vilasuso. When things got tough, they sought out therapy and continue to put the work into their marriage.
Jordi and Kaitlin have a new podcast called “Making It Work” where they candid about lessons they’ve learned in their own relationship and discover new ways of making it work in life, love & marriage.
Jordi won the Daytime Emmy award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a drama series for his role on Guiding Light. Watch the episode below!
